Pretty cool to see the rescue of the F-15 pilot missing behind enemy lines in Iran.
It does sounds like another big win for the USA there. We will need to try to find out some information about that piece of (good/bad) news somewhere.
I will look into it and post details if I can find any.
Also let us know if you find any good news about the cost of living issues caused by Trump's war going down sometime soon at all...

Ben Roberts-Smith arrested: former Australian soldier to be charged with five war crime murders in Afghanistan

The three incidents allegedly involved Afghan nationals being shot dead by Roberts-Smith, or a subordinate under his control, while he was present, the AFP commissioner, Krissy Barrett, said on Tuesday.

Guardian Australia understands the charges relate to allegations that Roberts-Smith was involved in the deaths of two Afghan males at a location known as Whiskey 108 in 2009, and the death of a man named Ali Jan in 2012. The third incident relates to the deaths of two civilians at Syahchow in 2012.

The federal court found to the civil standard of probabilities that Roberts-Smith kicked Ali Jan in the chest, sending him falling backwards over a cliff before he landed on the ground. The court found that Roberts-Smith then ordered another soldier to shoot him dead.

Roberts-Smith was expected to face court on Tuesday afternoon.

Barrett, who did not name Roberts-Smith, said it would be alleged that the 47-year-old was involved in the death of Afghan nationals between 2009 and 2012 in circumstances that constituted war crimes.

“It will be alleged the victims were not taking part in hostilities at the time of their alleged murder in Afghanistan,” she said.

“It will be alleged the victims were detained, unarmed and were under the control of ADF members when they were killed.”

Afghanistan is a grotesque place. It was a war/place we should never have sent troops to. Too confronting for lads brought up in this country. It should be fenced off. It is a sad state of affairs.

I think America will send in ground forces in the next 24 hours.
It is a sad state of affairs. If they are left to do it all themselves they should claim the oil and the rest of us can transition to wind, electric and nuclear - which we 100% should do anyway.

If you look at how the military and CIA combined to get that pilot and add to the mix Israel and Mossad ingenuity I think the good guys can get it done over there quickly.

I’m hoping everyone has watched Steve Keen’s interview with Steve Bartlett.

Who’d have predicted that giving Trump carte blanche would be a monumental f**k up? Who’d have predicted it?
Guess who’s making money off jacked up oil prices and energy shortages? It certainly isn’t national USA. Guess who’s also ensuring that money continues to flow after they leave office? Who’s doing so not just at the cost to his own people, but to their allies around the world. Who’s endgame out of this is to hope Israel and Iran don’t escalate what he’s escalated already.

It’s not like there weren’t signs before he was elected that they were electing Patrick Bateman.

Without watching I am guessing Russia and I pointed this out 2 weeks ago.
Am I right?

The American's are not the good guys. You're trolling @T-Boon .
They are.
Some countries like us have the luxury of virtue signaling while hiding behind the USA.

The USA don't have that luxury. Someone has to be the world police and keep us safe that is USA and Big Trump.
The Islamic Republican regime are the bad guys. They are very bad.

Wow, I though Ben Roberts-Smith losing his ill-fated defamation case was the last we'd hear of the guy, and he'd slink off with his diminished reputation, lucky to still have freedom.

But it looks like freedom may now be a long time coming, if at all pending these charges....
