He's always been handy but he showed last night that you can't buy experience.
People get caught up in the fairytale of how good this young fella is and how good that young fella is but until you've been around a while, those players have not been exposed to the different scenarios which can make them inconsistent.

He's playing so well he'll probably get picked up by another club for next year.

I posted at the time of his first run here that we didn't give him enough game time to show what he can do.

Good on him if he can start making some good coin.

He's here to 2027, so we have time to work it out.
Both Doueihi & Luai aren't going anywhere, so we just need to change the deck chairs around and have all 3 playing.
For me, AD to lock, he was pretty good there earlier last season.
Twal back into FR rotation.
Not forgetting we get last offer.

We also have Latu on our books. I reckon we need him as much as the other 3.

The problem with this is that our middle forwards have been getting the job done and we are basically playing with 3 props. Latu comes in and plays in the middle as well but you only give him 20 odd minutes or so.

I don't know how we use them best to win games now and over the next couple of seasons.

Well, that's why Benji gets the big bucks, it's his job to figure it out and keep them all happy. hahaha

Jock is our best game manager & I think at his age & with experience he gained learning of Reynolds he has enormous upside.Im a huge AD fan & irrespective of the fact he said he wanted to lead the team around the park the baton must be passed on to Jock.Personally I’d much prefer AD & Jock at 6 & 7.The money Luai is on & the length of his contract is detrimental to management of our cap going forward. He has been at Concord for over a season now & has played like a 300k player not 1.3M one.Prob is that coz of salary & his strong bond with Benji he is a lock at 5/8.Hence AD should play centre until May returns & then lock coz the 14 jumper needs to be Latu’s as he provides us with X factor of the bench.
I wouldn’t play AD at centre when everyone is available coz out best 3/4 line is Maka turuva May & Tavana(what a revelation this kids been).

We havnt seen jock wuth Luai. Who knows it could be a turbo boost. L thrived off the “structured” Cleary .. Let’s see…. which I think we will .. no way is jock being dropped now despite him not being perfect. At least he’s a half with all the trappings

Highlight for me was seeing jock chase I think his own kick? Then he looks back at his team mates and yells out come the fk on!! That was beautiful to see

I'm not disagreeing that he has been great but I can see him being dropped easily. I also think Tavana has been great and I can see him getting dropped as well.

I reckon Luai is really good and he can do stuff other players can't but I think him AD and Latu are best playing as running halves. Jock would be the lowest paid out of all 3 and I feel he is the best fit for the team.

It's not that. It's that we have depth and players won't get picked for first grade that deserve to be picked.
Benjis ability as a coach will determine that.. He knows more than most how and what halves skills are required to win.. he may go with whose being paid the most etc but I’m going to guess he will do the right thing..

Just an aside I liked how he humbled tino out of the blue in the presser when he said we blew tries as well including tino’s one?im assuming he means the zig zag run that ended up nowhere right by the try line.. I don’t necessarily agree he should have kept running straight for the try line but anyway..he seems to be evolving as a coach at s rate of knots..I don’t mind a bit of tino humble ..he won’t get it from Luai

I didn't think that was a bombed try though. I thought AD hogging it at one stage was worse.
