Reality check for them. Clearly all the hype and talk about contracts and origin jersey distracted them. I hope nathan and the rest of the senior players refuse to engage on the contract talk. Why does nathan need talk about what he is open to with the media? If hes taking offers he doesnt need to generate interest. Just straight bat the contract question "im just focused on this week, the other stuff ill deal with after the season",
Wielder getting a W here is the biggest disgrace of it all.

We all know 'the truth', it's just some think there truth is more correct than others.

Truth is the wrong word just being honest with your opinion. Right or wrong with what we say we're all fans no matter what. I'll take you lot over the rest of the rabble in the nrl.

Luai was very overrated here overall but his defence is outstanding. That simply isn't the standard level of defence for a 6. Blazie has clearly improved but still has a way to go.

I'll bite.

We win the 2025 premiership if Luai stays. Not overrated in the slightest. Gun of a player.

Hmm maybe but he never really fired in a finals gane for us

We finish top 4. That is the key.

Our start to the season would have been better. We would have banked more wins. Would have been similar to 2023 and 2024 with a higher finish on the ladder.

Not a shot on Blaize. Just reality. Luai is a very good footballer.

Luai was a handbrake on our attack for his last 2/3 years here. I know the Cogger thing is a bit of a meme but imo we lose the 23 gf if he stays on the field. You can talk about his shoulder but he'd played like that for a lot longer. He looked like a guy who was ready to lead a team and in some sense was already out the door. However, his defense was elite during all this and contributed in no small way to our overall stability. That shouldn't be downplayed. But I think people have rose coloured glasses about his work with the ball for at least half his career here.

MEMO TO IVAN CLEARY. STATUS: URGENT

Please instruct your team to forever stop using the "Short Dropout" as a restart option.

We are the absolute, by streets, worst in the competition at this. Kiraz try again from kicking short.

Just ALWAYS kick long and back your defence and perhaps a mistake from the opposition may happen.

There, problem solved. I almost am ready to grab the remote and turn off when we do this.

On another note.

How funny was Ivan's hand gesture to the belligerent Dogs fan? Classic stuff.
Shows what a sore loser and w**ka he is

Penrith should fine him 10K and make him publicly apologise

can’t have a coach behaving like that
