Think we all identified the first 6 rounds as crucial in getting off to a strong start. 3-1 is terrific, to go 4-1 would be amazing. Just gotta keep banking those early season wins, you know at some stage of the season youre going to get a tough run of injuries/luck/form etc, getting the 2 points early in the year takes the pressure off those.

After Newie we have a tough run against 4 of last years top 5 sides, gotta ride this momentum while we have it.

We need to jag as many wins as we can. Yesterday was great because we typically get a heart breaking loss. This time we got another 2 points.

Again, this is the opposite of what we're used to. Normally it's us conceding a try just before or after half time. Often before and after. I think this comes down to our much improved fitness.

Remember when they used to play that song after every major sporting championship win, worldwide. Then people worked out it was a song about Freddie overcoming prejudices about being gay. Then it disappeared. Its a funny old world. To me the song can be about anyone overcoming anything.

There's an article on ZT about, if you could have any player you wanted, who would you take?

Thoughts.

For me:
Backs: If Bula stays then I'm happy with our backline and depth.
The halves: Maybe Cleary, but I don't think we need anyone urgently.
Forwards: Can always use a good FR, so maybe Hass, though he comes across as a bit of a prima donna, IMO.

Depth is always needed, we are reasonable ATM, but it never hurts to bring more in.

Didn’t realise we have 3 home games in a row … 3 sell outs in a row would be huge although Leichhardt oval on a Thursday night is a bit whacky

massive opportunity to go on a bit of a streak, or will we blow it?

I’m pissed off about the scheduling of Thur nite @ the 8th.Any other day & id be there with bells on.
I think the knights will be tougher to beat than the broncos. If we win tom it will be a great opportunity to finally go on a proper streak
