I’ve never been that high on CHT but lowkey he’s kind of a gun if he plays as a pure 6 who doesn’t have to run the attack
Yeah he’s a great player when paired with the right 7. Actually has a great footy iq and is hyper competitive and has a knack for being on the spot, just not a natural organiser. I think he pairs perfectly with Boyd, probably more so than with Metcalf.

Webster has Boyd, CHT and Metcalf all looking better than I ever thought they could be. The halves whisperer.

Storm don’t have the forwards this season.

Warriors smashed them .
yeah it was already a weakness and now they really have nothing up front with Tui and Katoa also out, and Nelson even though he was probably doing more damage than good, was a big a body that could get some momentum. I think they'll continue to get absolutely dominated by physical teams like Panthers and the Warriors. It doesn't get any easier, they play the Raiders next - I can't see how they win that one either.

Storm are very much due a bad year.
A bad year for the Storm is usually just missing the top 4 and/or not being there on GF day.

Missing the 8 would be disastrous for them (on their standards), and being closer to the spoon than the top 8 would be utterly unthinkable.

I’ve always wondered how the storm would react if they finished bottom 4 or something
We all thought it'd happen once Bellamy was gone, but we might be seeing a really bad Storm season with him still in charge... which will be very interesting indeed!

Still, by usual standards "really bad" for the Storm is just missing the playoffs.. and I suspect that's what'll happen - they'll sort it out mid-season, but pay the price for a bad start to the year & finish somewhere between 9th and 12th.

Storm have lost too many good players, esp in the forwards. This next man up mentality talk works when there is a very strong core of a team and a few gaps can be filled. Storm don’t have the forwards atm

For the storm to not respond after copping 50 is certainly something...

The empire might finally be falling.

It's a bit early to write the Storm off isn't it. Penrith were rubbish for a longer period than this last season and came charging back. The Storm spine is absolutely top notch and it's not as if they have had 50...oh...

It wouldn't matter how badly they're playing, they'll make the 8 off the back of some rather fortuitous calls in tight games...
