Lussack would be a good replacement.

If Nathan signs a 2 year extension I would be happy with that. If not I am ok too. I'm just curious to know how they would transition out of it. Going back to the dark old days would be disappointing.

I liked what I saw of Lussack last weekend. he appears to have a good kick on him too. Plays straight and gives good service. He would be a cheaper option than Kenny.

In all things though I'll trust whatever Cameron and Ivan come up with. They have a pretty good record.

I think Leota may be one of those we need to let go to earn a longer final contract elsewhere.

He is currently on $675,000 a season, and will turn 33 in 2028. So if we re-sign him for that year and beyond, it may need to be for a bench impact role on a much lower salary, if his metres and minutes continue to drop off across the rest of this season and next season.

I think Leota may need keeping. He's come into his own since Fish has left. Perhaps a deal that's short term maybe 2 years. Because at the moment he's at the top of his game. What makes him very useful is his go forward, he has footwork that for a large man is quite unusual too. Happy though to hear the ideas of others.

Mitch Kenny I'd be keeping. He isn't going to cost too much.

While we have Blaize/Cleary I keep Kenny. If something dramatic changes in the halves might cause a re-think for a more crafty 9.

Kenny's career relies on Yeo

They are all part of the puzzle.

Kenny has his moments but overall he does his bit well. If he comes cheap and the majority of the spine remains I don't see a need for change.

Remember as good as Api was it meant someone had to leave. The spine was on too much coin. You need to create some balance.

I like Kenny and want him to stay but it's not like he's Cameron Smith. If he can get a good money deal I'm also not going to cry about losing him. The only one I'm stressed about is Cleary. Yeo would obviously count but there's no stressing a guy who'll be a one club player.

Yeo covers Kenny and Edwards' playmaking shortcomings. Nathan would be SO easy to shut down without him.
In your very strange opinion. Do you ever wonder to yourself, it’s weird that no one sees the same things I do???

It’s certainly not facts.

Many see it actually.

Matty Johns and Cooper Cronk have many segments on Yeo's ballplaying and overall effect or our play. Those 2 blokes and every Rugby League podcast in existence really

Matty and cronk are some of the smartest football judges even if cronk is a awkward in commentary and the Matty Johns show sucks.

So Matty Johns and Cooper Cronk have said that Mitch Kenny’s career relies on Yeo.

And further more, Many people agree with this…… Okay….

Where would our attack come from without Yeo?

Its very clear what Dyl and Kenny are good and what they aren't.

We are talking about Mitch Kenny?? Yeo’s ball playing ability has no bearing on his Career, stop being silly. Kenny’s defence and service from dummy half is elite. He’s also an 80 min NRL hooker. Stop being silly.

I’m going to forget you mentioned Edwards because that’s an even dummer comment.

Given Yeo’s ineffectiveness at Origin level, maybe it’s the width of pass and service provided by Kenny that has helped to create Yeo’s career.

It's the "let the boys play" origin rules actually.
Basically back to the 5m rule and anything goes in the ruck. It's the worst actual game play in the sport but people still buy the myth

It’s just a such a ridiculous thing to say in a team sport.
Are you saying that Mitch Kenny has deficiency’s because he’s always passing to Yeo or Cleary? That’s so dumb.

On one hand you’re saying how amazing Yeo is, but then making out like it’s a negative that Kenny passes him the ball?

Instead of saying how good he passes that ball.

I know you worship Yeo, but this an awful take.
