Today was the culmination of MONs tenure and the club should take action now, tonight. Matt Beach may not know a lot about footy, but surely he can see a disaster of epic proportions unfolding under his ultimate leadership.

Even the Dragons have a better roster than the Eels, but coached even more poorly. Go figure that.

We are worse now then what we were this time last year with a more settled roster.

38 points per game and played 3 teams in the bottom 6. Its a bigger enough sample now that our systems are dreadful.

Our 2 wins have been patchy.

I attended today, first time I’d been at CommBank since pre-Covid. They looked off from the very start, absolutely zero intensity in anything they did early on, and it only got worse from there.

Whatever defensive systems are being taught and trained (if there are any at all) are simply not working. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a team get their middle defence torn apart as easily as Parra has the first six weeks of this season. It’s untenable, and suggests either the defensive coaching is bad or the system that is implemented simply cannot work with the current cattle. Either way, something has to change with it, and now.

We where not that bad. We've bombed 2 or 3 tries and handed them 12 points with intercepts. Had not been intercepted we score. 24 point turnaround there. Add the 2 tries we blew and the scores like 38-32 to us.
Just mostly unlucky today and a few bad ref calls.

I’ve noticed this season our distinct inability to win a tackle especially when defending. Today it was every tackle we were losing. I don’t think you can get fundamentals that wrong but mentally we may as well be out doing half arsed trade jobs. Don’t think even @hindy111 would take any of them as labourers

I was joking. That was the worse performance of any NRL side this year by a margin.
