I don't disagree at all, and today is one of those days he's getting a bit of a touch up and needs to learn from it. He hasn't been good in the first half. He'll get a shot to respond this half hopefully.

Yeah I’d agree with that. Tbh I have no idea how he’ll go long-term, but it’s too early to be so critical considering the circumstances imo

I don't think we see his best for another 3 or 4 years yet. As is customary with our club though, we need it now. If we had the luxury of waiting til blokes were ready, we'd probably still have guys like Simi Sasagi still at the club. We definitely need to get to that point.

It’s fairly obvious he’s struggling to adjust to the pace of playing week in week out FG. He looks gassed a lot of the time.
Sure but we've seen him do better. He might not be ready for the weekly grind. Front row was always going to be a weakness this season unfortunately.

Shout out to McEwen though. Kid has stood up on both sides of the ball today by coming up with some massive runs and defensive efforts

I will be content enough with strong showing in the 2nd half, play smart and show some pride, win the half on the scoreboard and move on with some dignity to next week.

Jesus absolutely nothing clicking today, this is hard to watch. Can't afford errors from our senior blokes when the kids are having a tough day too.

God sometimes you just can't buy some luck huh. One of those days. We need to really dig our heels in here to just avoid this getting ugly.

If we're looking for silver linings, which I am at this point, our good performances have been excellent, even though our bad ones have been two shockers. Last time we responded superbly from the Warriors game and turned it around straight away. We didn't go into our shell like you always knew we would under AOB. I'd take that over consistent mediocrity.
