I vowed I'd never go to an Eels V Dogs game again after last season. Their supporters are overpowering. They don't cheer their team. Their immediate reaction upon scoring is to abuse Eels fans ultra aggressively. They stand and block views and look ready to punch on for any reason.
I can just imagine the reception our 86 Grand Final winners will receive. It will be beyond embarrassing.
Unfortunately I missed last week's game so I'll be there on Sunday.
And putting the Cup game on afterwards is an utter disgrace. Fu*k you Parramatta!

Yup,

There is zero footy IQ and zero banter

Just vulgar language , threats and stupidity en mass

Never thought Saxon Pryke would make First Grade at the Eels...

Never saw him making it, tbh....

Either I'm a poor judge of football talent (which is certainly plausible), or things are that damn bad right now (which also holds some weight)....
One game doesn't mean he made it. He is 22, has never been in the top 30 (currently dev list) and doesn't have a club for next year, so he is very lucky to get this chance. He offers nothing in attack but he's been a very good defensive workhorse in NSW Cup. He could go apeshit and make 60 tackles on Sunday.

Oh, I know - he's a hard worker, which we need more of.

I wish him the best, but I never thought I'd see the day that Pryke played First Grade here.

Only at a club like ours would a plodder like him play first grade.

The fact the club are making a big deal about this is utterly embarrassing.

This is not a serious football club and our standards are the lowest in the league.
