Actually, not at the moment. I haven't trawled the forums to see who's available for next year but a 32 yo sounds like another prime candidate for 'taking the cash from the Eels'. He's been around, won a premiership ring. The only thing left is to take a payout contract.

I mentioned it before. The NRL Six Again game is no country for old men. Careers are becoming shorter, injuries are climbing and players are looking for bigger seasonal payouts to compensate for less years in the game.

They aren't going to slow the game down, mate. Players in their 30's are going to be found out on the field more often. Paulo is also 32. He's virtually done. I want to see our COE live up to it's name as well as see us compete aggressively for top tier players who want to play for the Eels not only for money but pride. Yeah, I'm dreaming.

in 25 years i can only think of 1 top tier player that wanted to play for the eels (BA) and that was Kieran Foran.
