Reynolds has shown wear and tear and been written off since before he left souths. He has it between the ears and combined with enough physically to make us all feel sick today. He’s one of the greats with leadership qualities any team would die for ..in a position that is forgiving to the more mature/ experienced player..let’s hope he doesn’t find it today coz he can still win a game single handedly if he’s in the mood

I reckon it's a safe bet that Jarome knows exactly what Benji does and DOESN'T want from him this first game back. It's a good situation to have where we have 4 first grade halves where the team can ( reasonably) seamlessly pick up where they left off with them in any combination when the need arises...hard to coach against as well when we have halves coming off the bench.
He may well know but he is known for straying from the plan as evidence by his running across field and other shit plays. Pretty good so far though, hasn’t done too much wrong bar one shit kick.

Esra Mam has thrown three or four forward passes down their left side and not one of them has been called. Pakora was tackled when he passed the ball it absolute rubbish that call and how it was not reviewed has got me baffled. The ball hit the ground while Api still had hold of him while Douehi had touched him before he got to his feet

The way it going this could be our first flogging of the season, we have been ok but have been a bit loose in defence tonight and broncos have been in our 20,3x and scored three tries. Stressing me out

Had enough ball and territory to win it, disappointing, Luai really adds very little, runs us in to the sideline (he’s not the reason we lost) but not once did Staggs have to defend inside was always heading toward the sideline which gave Tay May and Makasini nothing. Gaurantee if Madden was half that would have been different. Really made it easy for Staggs. Disappointed that they didn’t use KPP effectively on the other side too. On a positive they didn’t throw in the towel. Time to give Makasini a break in the lower grades and we’ll put up with Skelton for a few weeks.

Makasini turned in a disastrous last 15. He really hasn’t lived up to the hype this season. Might need a stint in reggies, especially when Star is fit again.
Toa has been playing in Cup, just been ordinary. Maybe Tavana if he’s not injured should come in. I don’t think Makasini has a great deal of confidence in himself, young fella needs to back himself and commit, that bomb he dropped was atrocious

Or we start Madden, move Doeuhi out and Herbert onto that wing.

Fair enough, the dropped pass was an absolute shocker. It just spiralled from there. When he pulled off a good play after (bomb defuse) he messed it up with the quick tap needing to be retaken. His head was completely shot.

Could live with Tavana coming in for him.

I guess Luai who knows what he has to do, isn’t taking us to the promised land and Reynolds isn’t passed it.. but Benji ! Madden on with 17 to play ? Wake up!
Benji’s bench use has been a strength this season, but he got it wrong today. The consistent players going down with niggles probably didn’t help. Both AD and Bula seemed to be having issues.

Brisbane were much more hungrier, disappointing we didn’t score more points in the first 20 but Brisbane were a heck of a step up from the knights despite their outs. Their 1-7 shit all over us
Broncos are really structured, they rarely do anything too flash just play the percentages and stick to their plan. It takes one missed tackle or a quick play the ball and then they let it happen. Mam would’ve thrown six forward passes tonight he cannot pass right to left, he got away with most of them too

P

Pedestrian is fine compared to mistake prone and no impact by Makasini Pedestrian and safe is fine too when we have May Turuva Doeuhii Fainu and KPP as weapons.
Herbert is a stop gap and that’s about it. That’s not a criticism he plays his role, might be a bit harsh Douehi has fallen victim to the ‘look at me’ syndrome and hasn’t been supplying the same quality ball the last two weeks. Douehi has been tackled a hell of a lot with the ball.
