Army kept waiting for Guymer

A local army regiment turned up on Friday for a photo shoot with Parramatta Eels ahead of Anzac Round and to celebrate their special jersey. Some of them took a day off work for the shoot and brought along weapons and vehicles.

We were told they were kept waiting for more than an hour and that only one Eels player, Charlie Guymer, turned up. Parramatta say they originally informed the army they would have a player there between 2pm and 4pm. He turned up just after 3pm after the Eels had told the army on the day they would arrive at 3pm.
The army were also given 150 tickets to Parramatta’s clash with the Warriors.

What a shit effort from the club, f**king disgraceful.

Good on Guymer, he's true blue.

Yeah tough loss. Makasini errors very costly I think. Kid will learn from that. Tough loss when as you said we dominated for long periods. TBH, I wrapt that we can play like that and dominate the territory game. we have done it all year. Disappointed with the loss but if we can keep it up, the wins will come.
At half time you had 19 completed sets from 22 against Broncos who had 14 from 17 - 60% to 40% possession.
Penalties 1-1 but Broncos hammered 4-2 ruck infringements, 3 to 0 inside 10. That's 5 extra sets of six agains.

At 8-0 you had 75% to 25% possession, 13/14 and broncos 4 from 5.

At 14 to 6 66% to 34%, 19/22 and 10/13.

It's clear the Tigpies are ref's favourite this year yet still couldn't score more tries than the shithouse Eels nor beat the 10th placed Donkeys. Luckily for you you only have the 7th placed Sharks and 14th placed Scum up next.

Is anyone really surprised at the state of the club when you hear stories like that Guymer one.

Been saying for ages our front office would struggle to run a meat raffle at your local pub.

A few years ago we had the debcale in the NRLW where the club didnt book the Paramedics for a home game and it got delayed by an hour.

I was reading through the Juniors thread yesterday it seems we dont even have a medi cart to get an injured bloke off the ground at our brand new COE.

Someone posted a photo they had 3 trainers trying to carry flegg player off the ground who couldnt walk.

Meanwhile being surrounded by incompetence around the football program.

Its embarrassing.

Surprise factor ZERO, probably too busy getting comfortable waiting for the Tigers NRL game to start. Admin was a saving grace, now it’s joined recruitment as a debacle

Just remember last years members function at magic round mate. What a embarrassing debacle that was. Didn't help our foul mouth midget chairman dropping multiple f bombs in front of women and children.

Yeah arriving at the start of the function and the bar staff had no idea the function was an open bar.

The club forgot to tell them they were covering it until 15-20 mins into the event.

Looks about right The Army sent the Army Reserve and Parra sent their own reserve

Hang on....I thought you told me this years form didnt count? We just got within a point of the reigning premiers.

you know I’m probably one of our harshest critics here on the direction the club is at, particularly on the field but could it be possible that the venues management didn’t tell the bar staff it was an open bar?

just sayin.

Hypothetically, if someone were to start a petition to get these imbeciles removed from the club, how many signatures do you realistically think it would get?

Because, honestly, the only way any sort of change will be made with these clowns, is to force them to hear the voice of the people ...
