Cesc Hits Out At Reds Approach

Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas has claimed Liverpool 'refused to play' in the first two parts of their trilogy this week.
Both games have finished 1-1, with Rafael Benitez's side closing out the matches at the Emirates as Arsenal desperately looking for home wins.
Fabregas told the Sunday Telegraph: "They defend very well and at 1-1, I think all they will want to do is defend and try to catch us on the break. We have to stick to our policy of playing football, attacking and trying to create opportunities.
"Just because the other team refuses to play doesn't mean we have to do the same thing. We want to stick to our football and that's what we will do."
Fabregas went on to praise Javier Mascherano, whose tenacious play was a big reason for the Spaniard's peripheral role in the first leg of the Champions League tie at the Emirates.
He said: "I could feel his breath on my neck all the first half. For me, I think he is an amazing player. Defensively, he's very good and with the ball, he knows what he is doing. He reminds me a little bit of Mathieu [Flamini] as well."

seems whinging at arsenal is part of the cheating and diving culture they've groomed over the last 15 years

Walcott Admits To Frustration

Theo Walcott has revealed that he approached Arsene Wenger over his lack of opportunities when he felt he was playing well enough to be included in the Arsenal side.

Walcott has yet to establish himself as a regular starter at Emirates Stadium and he admits at times it has been frustrating.
He feels that on occasions Wenger has been wrong to leave him out, but concedes that it was still a nervous moment when he asked the Arsenal manager what more he needed to do to force his way into the team.
"Sometimes, it's been frustrating," Walcott told the News of the World.
"There are times when I haven't deserved to play because I wasn't playing well enough but there have been times when I have been playing well and not been involved and that struck me a bit.
"So I actually went up to him for the first time and asked him what I had to do to start.
"I initiated the conversation and walked over to him on the training ground. It was a difficult thing to do, but I'm glad I did it.
"And he was fine. In fact, I think he thought it was really big of me to go to a top manager when I was 18 and ask what I had to do to improve."

Walcott, who turned 19 last month, has turned in a number of eye-catching performances as a substitute in recent weeks but feels he is now ready for a more important role.
"Not many 19-year-old players are doing what I'm doing," he said.
"And it's an honour even to sit on the Arsenal substitutes' bench. And when I come on, I like to think it lifts the team and lifts the supporters.
"But now I want to push on. I want to be starting and starting regularly."
Walcott has been likened to former Arsenal player Thierry Henry and he hopes that his career could develop along a similar path.
"I would never compare myself to Thierry because he is just an unbelievable player - in fact, when I first signed for Arsenal, one of the first things I did was to have my picture taken with Thierry," Walcott recalled.

"But I was star-struck then. Not any more. I feel comfortable now. I feel established as a Premier League player and I want to push ahead.
"The boss is taking a similar route with me as he took with Thierry - playing me out wide, protecting me a bit and then going upfront later in my career.
"When I had the chat to him (Wenger), he wanted me to be more aggressive in my style. Not going around kicking people but aggressive in an attacking sense. I think I have done that.
"I think I will be playing as a striker next season and the boss seems to think that as well.
"I will play anywhere for the team but as a striker seems to be the future."

lol so this 19 year thinks he's king sh*t ... ... arsenal there's always next year

He really is a petulant little sh*t. Apart from spitting on Ballack, I really hate what he said to Mark Hughes last season. No respect, at all.

Wenger had another whinge about a supposed penalty that was denied on Saturday.

Admittedly the one in the Champions Leage should have been given but this time it wasn't even close on Fabregas.

Wenger is the undisputed king of the whinge - and yes his side dives as well as anyone.

I still haven't forgotten Francis Jeffers winning a penalty against Riise a few years back with the world's most blatant dive ...

Well, Lionel Messi is starting for Barca at 19, you dumb sh*t.

What an ego for a young kid. Farkin hell.

I feel that's a pretty stupid reply since they are only 3 points behind the leaders with a game against us at Stamford Bridge where they haven't lost in years.

Arsenal have as much chance of winning a trophy this season as Chelsea do IMO, and have spent far less money to do so.

It's also quite ironic to see a Chelsea fan in a thread about a player from an opposing team who whinges, when you think of the way Chelsea carry on towards the referees....their petulant display the other week after that shocking tackle from ashley cole comes to mind.

It's also ironic to see a man u fan call Fabregas petulant when you consider the way Cristiano Ronaldo has been known to carry on in the past.....

So I'm not allowed to judge a player from another team because a player from my team used to dive alot?

OK.

Nothing about being "precious", it'd be ironic if I managed Ronaldo. I haven't seen him spit on anyone or walk up to a former player/current manager and ridicule him about his stint with a club.

and fabregas would of been about 18 or 19 when he spat on ballack ... ballack should of punched him for that and knowing him i'm surprised he didn't

 if i remember correctly patrick vieira took the brunt of ballack's rage that night

^^ hope to see more of that

but still what's he go to whinge about? liverpool were the away side in both games and arsenal had ample oppurtunities to put them away both times ... not liverpools problem if arsenal couldn't break them. he's mad because he knows they most likely won't be able to do the business at anfield so the excuses are ringing loud already

and walcott should shut his mouth. he's certainly not good enough to be telling any manager he should be a guarenteed starter
