I stated on the main board tht stats wise Hino is up there with Laffranchi, Gallen et al as the game's top backrower and way ahead of sh*t like Hindmarsh and Ryan. There may be a hidden agenda ... Hino out means Halatau to back row which means it is less likely lawry will be moved to wing which means junior burger is more likely to keep his spot. Or maybe TNT will move to the forwards, keeping a 3/4 spot available for junior. Either way do not trust Ronald

Hino is my favourite player but he needs to develop a more consistent off-load before being considered as good as the elite (Gallen, Lafranks, SBW etc). That said, he's our best forward and he needs to be a priority. He says in the article he would love to stay so let's hope the club feels the same. I would have grave fears about next year if he wasn't around, and before anyone wanks off about Ellis, he has proved jack diddly in the NRL so we can't pin anything on him yet.

Agree whole-heartedly.

I remember screaming at the TV when we played Canberra and they flashed to a shot of Heigho just after the Raiders had hit the lead, the pained look on his face - he knew they were going to lose, and he busted his gut ut there that day.

He deserved better that day, and he needs to be contracted for a further 3 years. Under one of the premier backrowes in the game next year, he wil develop the offload.

And, he's a try sneak to boot. 20 tries is good going for a hard working second rower.

EA you make a very good point. If anyone should be a priority it is Ryan O ... the game's premier prop and a handy social and festivities co-ordinator to boot

Spot on. I remember at about the 60-65 minute mark or something (of which he'd played every single one) after the Raiders had kicked and chased well, Hino was the first forward back taking a hit-up, as is his custom. Meanwhile we had Te'o bludging out in the f**king centres all game. He may not be flash, but he's hard, effective and passionate. A work-a-holic backrower who actually has some impact in attack (unlike the Ryans, Hindmarshes of the world).

Look I am a massive Canberra fan, but surely there is no way in the world he would leave Wests. Looking at it from a neutral perspective I think you guys definitely deserve to keep such a good player who you have groomed.

no way canberra will sign him, he is actually a good player.

And doesn't come from Cooma...

A few years back rumour was going around that Heighno was willing only to sign a short term contract because he was waiting to see if Central Coast would be admitted to the comp. Thank f**k that didn't eventuate!

Canberra want the Rhino.

I want Elle McPherson to go down on Jennifer Hawkins in front of me and then invite me in to finish the job.

See a connection there????
