Not so sure, Gong. What is stopping him from making it official? All it takes is a fax machine. Obviously he is holding out for some reason. Doesn't take a brain surgeon to work this out. If he did sign Manly would surely announce things straight away. Dragging on too long - just tell him to p#ss off and move on. This is turning into a circus. Let's just get Matt Mundine from the Saints

Are you thick? The poster asked where it was anounced and I posted the link.

Now you have accused me of saying that Williams had signed a contract which is a lie.

Then you accused me of posting a link where there's no mention of Williams signing. Another lie.

Ummm - dude - YOU sent ME the deleted post on the 28/05/2008 as attached in this thread. I just cut and paste your deletion notification - hence there WAS a link. Check that day in your outbox my friend. Is it beneath you to admit your wrong? It would be lovely to see some humility here. Additionally, YOU tell ME what Michael Hagan is suggesting Manly is doing with our salary cap with these comments:-

1. Parramatta coach Michael Hagan questioned the Sea Eagles ability to afford outstanding young prospect Tony Williams.

2. But Hagan went further, questioning Manly's financial position to sign the Junior Kangaroo until the end of 2011.
``Do Manly have a different cap to everybody else?'' he asked The Manly Daily last night.
``Didn't they just sign Chris Bailey?
``They must have a very, very good accountant.

For the record, Manly are now the ONLY team to have never been found to cheat the salary cap. That's right - NEVER !!

I posted a thread saying Hagan suggests Manly are cheating the salary cap - and you deleted it, with 100% bias mate. Read the above statements from Hagan, and finish this sentence:-

"Michel Hagan in the article is trying to suggest ___________________?

Go on, answer it. I think you'll then find you moderate the forum with bias. But that's fair enough mate - I'd do the same in honesty....but I can admit it.

Again - it's unfair you make allegations about the type of person Tony Williams, with no source, no link, no author (you actually said it's OBVIOUS) therefore being 100% sure of his attitude.

On the flipside - the kid has loads of character IMO. Playing hard for the Eels in 08. Being a man of his word in 09.

Now, do you have the courage of your convictions, and admit you may have been a bit wrong / hasty in deleting my thread. There will be absolutely no hard feelings, and I will 100% move on.

Hey Ryan, can you explain how Manly are the only club that could upgrade the contracts of all it's stars and then buy Perry, Lstrange, Bailey and Williams. Don't even start with the players you let go like Monaghan etc, because he would barely cover the arrival of Perry.

Cuthberson, Geln Stewart would have got sizeable upgrades, between them I believe their ipgrades would be worth arouind $300k, not to mention the 3 year deals Kite, King, Matai, Watmough etc all signed and lets not forget Brett Stewart would have got a massive upgrade.

I've seen what parra had to do to give upgrades to Mateo, Inu and Hayne.
We lost a host of players and couldn't sign anyone because of this.


Last time I felt this sus was 2000 when the Bulldogs were at it.
People are really starting to question Manly's abilities to sign all these players.

As for Williams being a man of his word. HE'S GOING TO MANLY FOR 1 f**king REASON $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Parra have turned him into a good footy player and it seems as though he's taken the money and run
