t the poll has not appeared yet.So to me the 2 most naturally gifted players where fittler and alexander. But my vote goes to Colin Van Der Voort .Col gave everything every game and played with injuries most players would be out weeks with.He made our legends team

Brohman was a great player. He could always talk it up better than anyone. Although he couldnt hit it up but he could talk it up.

I havent seen any other Panthers players star in LOWES adds so he must be going alright.

being in a lowes ad usually means you are desperate for money or have little to no acting ability

the best Penrith player ever is Greg Alexander imo. The best player to come from Penrith is Brad Fitler , again just my opinion.

Terry Wickey, Geoff Gerard and as for an import, Chris Mortimer, Neil Baker, McGaw.

What was Chris's nickname again, Ive forgotten, thats right, "Louie". An old timer told me he was one of the best ever.

Over the years you bought some pretty glamourous imports, real characters.

And Hoss...he should be on that list.

The 1990's was the real golden decade. The decade when the Panthers went from perrenial choking laughed-at losers to being well-respected top-flight competitors. Amazing decade. All the toil and struggle paid off. Respect was gained.

It's almost impossible to narrow it down to only one player.

But these are the players that I chose from.........

Craig Gower
Greg Alexander
Mark Geyer
Luke Priddis
Ryan Girdler
Steve Carter
John Cartwright
Col Van De Voort
Royce Simmons

My decision was a tough one, but for overall skill, natural talent and toughness I have to say..........

GREG ALEXANDER.

I will never forget our first premiership, and I will never forget Brandy playing most of a tri-nations game with two fractured feet.

Unbelievable loyalty and determination.......heaps of natural skill.......and both mental and physical toughness.

What more could you ever want from a player ???

A question for you HH, Where did Brandy come from???? No problem with who you chose but both Alexander and Fittler come from Penrith so was curious as to who was the best Player

My dad told me to say this:

What about Lou Sivanivic...no idea how to spell it.

Dad said he used to love going to Penrith Park, getting beaten by 20-40 and still scream "GO LOUBO!" haha yeah he's a freak.

To this day I still have an image of Mick Kelly actually dragging/carrying 5 opposition players over the line to score. Most powerful feat I have ever seen in leage - amazing strength and determination.

I think it was Lou Zivanovic -I think he played for the eels as well.

When Louie joined the panthers in the afternoon of his career, he really lifted the joint on and off the feild.

Its good when an import really puts his heart and soul in. Like Civo.

One of the famous Mortimer boys, how good was Steve (the prince of darkness) Mortimer too.

The halfbacks today have absolutely nothing on the Mortimer and Sterlings of the world. Maybe Scotty Prince is the last classic halfback in the game.

Ahhh memories.

I bet there are lots of good stories about Mick Kelly, it would be great to meet him and just talk footy for the day.
