You had me worried for a minute there with that five in a row. What happened?

Missed the sh@tfight on LU, I was polar bear spotting at perisher. Didn't see any polar bears, just Sean Garlick and his family at Ski Rider. LOL

The bad and evil habits of the early part of the season came home to haunt us.

I got my match report from Sugar and it wasnt pretty. The word "glum" would be the most optimistic of descriptions.

We had no right to lose against the tigers, not that I mind them, but even you must admit the tiges of 2008 are one sorry weird bunch.

Whatever earnest professionalism we had during the fab five, we stomped on it good and proper.

The loss against the Knights was merely the chaser.

And if we continue the race for the bottom against the Warriors, we may as well blood whats left of the NYC.

Sean works hard for the club, I hope he had a wonderful holiday.

Garlo's pies are just about the best you buy in this city.

I love the snow too, its thats fuzzy thing you see on TV when its on Channel 5 isnt it?

Thanks for calling in for your dose of misery therapy.

You'd better keep low-key or you'll cheer us up, we cant have that in this thread, very off-topic.

Go Sonny you desperado! He's in sunny London in designer jeans atm while we freeze here in Panther territory wearing our jeans and flannys.

My life wont come apart because Sonny has racked off. I only feel for the NZ rugby league because as a proud aussie I support them and the international game.

I actually feel for SBW but got shouted down. Oh well.

Looks like it's next year for Tigers and Souths eh.

Spiritually, theres a lot of us fleeing the game with SBW at the moment.

And we know that he will be made to suffer for all of the ills of the game.

Bad refereeing: blame SBW

Poor crowds: blame SBW

Souths fan's misery: blame SBW

He is just a really dumb kid that has been poorly advised.

At the end of the day, its not his fault he is so stupid, he was born that way.

He's screwed up his whole life and his future for some cash grab now.

No-one will want anything to do with him for the 40 years after his career has ended. It will be like a gaol.

He will be despised like the chamberlain's even though they were innocent.

Theres a bit of sonny in all of us.

Dingo Williams perhaps?

Its good to see friends from other forums here. I hope you are enjoying the therapy.

SBW is the league equivlent of Christopher Skase. He'll be turned into a freak show for awhile and keep those of us at the rear end of the table amused while those in the finals hunt can support their sides to the end of the season. Not that they wont enjoy the distraction.

Apart from the Dogs and New Zealand national side, both of whom I do feel genuinely sorry for, for the rest of us, its probably in our best interests that he's done the bunk.

He's swindled the league!!

Now theres a turn-up for the books.

For anyone interested, my word is that the Continental Courts dont like restraint of trade, they dont like salary caps either.

There are already some legal precedents that may assist him.

If his NRL contract is not recognised in Europe and the NRL are not succesful in their efforts to injuct him, he'll probably make for a pretty fair break-away.

He should be able to make enough cashish to set him up for a few lives.

But he's lost a lot of friends and supporters in the process.

Is it worth it?

I suppose he thinks so.

He hasnt broken any criminal laws as some are reporting and he will not be arrested or go to gaol for this.

Ive trolled on Tigers LU, after that I think I can pretty much handle anything.

the thing is you and other souths fans dont need to post in there to cause fighting. there is enough fighting there with them fighting amongst themselves. i try to stay away but i get pulled in somehow :x

More league misery was reported a short time ago.

Channel 9 is refusing to let Gould on the footy show and Gallop deosnt want to appear either.

Gallop is the sherrif in charge of what will be the failed extradition of Sonny Bill.

He's been swept up in the moment like everyone else.

What I like about Gallop is that sometimes I think he makes the rules on his own and on the hop. He is responsive and hands-on.

And Gould is a knowledgable and interesting league commentator.

Gallop will expect people to thank him for his efforts and say that he did everything he could, which will be true. But he will fail and people will be unkind.

So its best to get over the SBW issue now. By all means ride the wave of unkindness, but deep inside, dont let it worry you.

Worry about Souths recent performances instead!

Well done Souths. Another win.

Bad luck Norths. Another loss.

And that to me is why !

PS... Hope Souths take Norths centenary chance at glory under consideration this year. When they know they can't actually win the comp by now. But with help the Bears can still win theirs .....

Cause every Bears back needs a good old scratch from time to time. But are souths gonna be that solid " back-up " tree. ??
