Just read on foxsports web site that the warriors are looking at Tim Smith, i really hope they dont sign him never thought he was that good, has an ok kicking game though dont think he is the solution to our half back problem

Tim Smith would actually be a perfect style of player for us. Assuming we could manage his off-field issues.
He's a high quality organiser, and when on form has a very cool head for making split second decisions. With a plethora of running 6's at our club, Tim would provide exactly the type of service we need.

Yep. Also that we tried to sign him for 2008, but he wanted to stay in the ESL until the end of the season.

Hardly champ. At the time of my post there were no links(as per the second request)...... other than the ones linking Smith with the Wigan WARRIORS.

Surprising move in all, particularly if he has fallen out of favour with Wigan after only two games.

Mateo and Smith moreso...... Witt and Thorman were the reserve grade combination before Witt's (and Thormans) eventual release in 2004 to Manly.

Tim took over from Michael in reggies when Witt returned to first grade in the latter half of that season.

I can catargorically say they have never ever played with or against eachother... ever. Tim Smith told me in 04, before Witt left that he would love to play with him, and then Witty left. Simple really, but Smith will be in England till end 09 IMO, in which he will come back into the NRL via Parramatta or Gold Coast.

I don't believe that Tim Smith will play for any other in the NRL, and this is because he is quiet loyal person. He loves parramatta, but would only play in the GC due to family. Plus with baz leaving Wigan next year, Timmy is his replacment.
