More than any other team in the competition too. While we have none. And less spoons.

Players from the Sunshine coast are not Manly juniors
unless you think Queensland is part of Manly :?
I don't know if Manly is rorting the cap
BUT
It is very suspect that they don't lose players they want to keep and they can still upgrade the contracts of all the players they want to keep AND still overpay for other new players (Tony Williams)
Every other team in the comp loses players they want to keep due to the salary cap (especially true once they need to upgrade contracts)
Now Manly have won the premiership and numerous of their players have been rewarded with rep honours, will Manly be able to keep all those players once their contracts come up?
I've supported my club all my life seen plenty of good and bad times including premiership wins and will continue to do so until i die..
so while you continue supporting your premiership winning team I'll keep supporting my club.
We put money into their clubs, therefore we are entitled to get their juniors. The Hills isn't part of Parramatta either, but you still get their juniors.
These Parramatta dudes take Mt Pritchard and Cabramatta as their local junior areas. Go figure. The majority don't even go for the Eels. I have not seen or heard of any evidence of the Parra Leagues club giving money to Mounties to help develop the juniors from that area, but you funnily claim them as your very own. These guys are playing to get into the best team they can. They really , really don't care if it is not Parra.
Growing up and playing in an area doesn't mean that you have play with the NRL club in that area, likewise clubs shouldn't take as granted that these players are theirs. It is a nursery area for Rugby League not for Parra Eels. If Parra wants to winge and take their bat and ball, I'm sure plenty of teams will take over those areas.
well, i've certainly hit a raw nerve with you
you know as sh*t as we are we still made the play offs 7 times in the last 10 years, which is actually not bad for a club no one wanted to play for..;-)
mate, the ole chest beating adage of "my club has a bigger dick than your club" doesn't interest me the slightest, I'll still support my club and will continue to do so.
You're not in here supporting your club though. You and a few other parramatta fans are making accusations and generally trying to bring down the Manly club. It reeks of sour grapes. Manly are a proud club who have the right people in every position, from CEO to water boy, working very hard for them. If we "don't lose player we want to keep" and "sign anyone we want" then why has it taken 12 years for us to climb from the bottom to the top? Don't bring us down because your club has underachieved for over 20 years.
so who's whingen???
btw, how's Manly's partnership with Mounties going??
you could be correct...;-)
that could be one of the reasons why imo you'll never never lose a player you want a keep in the future.
Mounties took over the Harbord Diggers as the club was struggling. Any partnership we have with Mounties is through the Harbord Diggers club, so what's your point?
so are you getting defensive about that also???
btw, why couldn't Maxi bail them out???
What did you mean by this statement then?
Why would Max bail out the Harbord Diggers? They had nothing to do with the Manly football club until after Mounties took over and decided to sponsor Manly.
so Manly don't fund their juniors??
so who's whingen???
btw, how's Manly's partnership with Mounties going??
Jeez SE if you're not in this thread to have a go at Manly then you need a hobby.
They leave because they know they will never win an NRL premiership at Parramatta. They leave because you can't lift them to the next level. And they don't just go to Manly. The talent is spread throughout the whole competition. Well, except at Parramatta anyway.
