I actually think Polglase was a decent player. He got smashed week after week, but just kept getting up and playing on. A lot of the princesses going around today could learn a lot from him.

watching the Decade of Excellence DVD, Walker looks like a great attacking player. Could have done with him in the centres last season

Ugh. Please. I was happier when he left than Finch. Dumb as a post, no discipline on or off the field, and all the tackling brilliance of Roy Bell. What a f**king muppet, without him Bulldogs have 2 less tries in the 04 GF.

You are not serious are you. Gimaldi was a hack. SBW would be the first person picked and Ryan to 13. Sherwin! I know he is blue and white through and through but Thurston is 10 times the player Sherwin was on his best day. Pick Polly or Sherwin at 7 and move Thurston to 6

how much did thurston play for the dogs? barely any from what I remember, and certainy rare for him to start. just because he is great now doesnt mean you should throw him in because he played first grade sporadically in one year. overall quality.

He was woeful. One play that sums him up is the infamous "Ah he's coming" defence on Robbie O in the 97 GF, followed by Robbie's jig.

monnas only had one great season (his last one), before that he was decent, fairly good but not great hence why orford was bought and monnas happened to excel at hooker and manly were called twats for signing orford and not retaining monnas. I would have kept monnas but he wanted to play halfback and that wasnt gonna happen.
