Amen!!
that Would Certainly Mean You Wont Have To Pull Me Into Line About Spelling!
*cough* Where did you get that from ? Because a few questions are being asked ?
Fishy and Gronk, instead of being negative, why not front up at the club 12 o'clock Saturday, and front us in person and ask the questions that are troubling you. Ovo is a mate, and always will be, but what has he told you on line? He loves the club...which we all knew, and the losses the club has sustained. There is no game plan, no future plan, no 5 year plan for the club or the NRL side. Apparenetly Fitzi has one for the next 12months, but we have not sighted as yet. You are both supporters of Denis, and that is fine, as he is a legend of the club,as a player and administrator, and I have been a supporter of him for many years, but it is time for new direction for the Parramatta Leagues Club, and the Eels. You have to vote for what you believe, and we respect that, but if you have an honest look around the joint, it cannot continue down this path. Ovo put on line yesterday what should happen at the leagues club, and he did not care who did it, 3P or incumbents, but everything he mentioned was what his board ripped out of the joint. If our group did not put forward this challenge, these issues would not even be discussed, as the same old company spiel would been jambed down the supporters and members throats AGAIN for another 2 years. You have both brought up about distrusting spokes persons for 3P...whats the problem?? Is it not a good thing that a representive can talk with you on line, or at a function organised for supporters, training sessions, trial games..when in the past have you had that luxury apart from Ovo seeing you guys occassionally.
Please dont make assumptions, come and find out the answers for yourself and have an informed opinion for the future of this club. We all want one thing, and that is success for this club, so find out as much information as you can from both sides, and then make your decision for your club. One thing 3P has done is wake the joint up...we have changed it forever even if we lose, as the patrons and members of this club will make the board and management accountable from this day on....is that not in everyones interest. Hopefully see you blokes on Saturday.
Terry Leabeater
PS Fishy......it's LEABEATER.....cheers mate.
For the amount of work you have put into the report
Bracing myself for the inevitible onslaught!!![]()
All the more scary
What are you referring to then?
I am referring to the ongoing activities of the board.
imo - the issue is not whether they should or shouldn't have other ppl advising and helping - but more are they able to properly take part in board meetings without having to go back and run things by the "advisors" .... i dunno - it just seems the driving force and brains trust of 3P aren't actually the board membersOk, so you don't think board members should take advice from anyone once elected... but isn't that supposedly the problem we have with the current board? They don't listen to the members?
I am confused with what you are trying to say...

no - but am planning to get there on saturday ..... i guess i am most referring to pricey, kenny and grothe .... i know brett was at one meeting, so maybe he could be judged from that - ray and eric?Have you been to any of the meetings? Just because Col is the one most online here doesn't necessarily make him the 'driving force' of 3P. Suffice it to say the other guys aren't particularly internet savvy ;-)
I should go on Sunday
Ok, so you don't think board members should take advice from anyone once elected... but isn't that supposedly the problem we have with the current board? They don't listen to the members?

Sigh,
Suity, to re-iterate. I am done mate. It is over. I am moving on with my next goal which is my health.
There have been many times over the last few days in this and other threads for me to jump in an be pedantic and get on peoples nerves, but I have decided not to, I am as I have stated focused on gaining my health.
At or around the time of the meeting though I will most probably be on the road to Wollongong to watch our Junior Representative teams Trial at WIN stadium.
It's on Saturday mate, does that make it any easier?
Your presence would be welcomed.
Suity
I really don't think I am being that confusing. I have no problem with the board taking advice from others - all boards do. It is in the same way that a board appoints an accountancy firm for financial advice for example. BUT - it should be the whole board taking the advice as one common entity - not as 2 groups.
I know that is not going to happen in this instance - and that is what concerns me. I wont call them puppets - yet.....................!
My bad but still no good. I will be down south.
