f**k our marketing department must work hard!

People on here can see what has to be done and have come up with ideas. Why don't the useless prikks come on here and have a read. Maybe, just maybe they might get an idea or two.

Do we actually have a marketing department? (serious question)

Everything I hear is that we run on a shoestring budget. I know Donaghy used to work to be marketing, but newspaper reports this week suggest that he is (also?) handling the sponsorships.

Maybe they can't afford to pay people to do these things? :(

Lets face the truth here , Sydney FC has seen marketshare possibility , they have spoke amongst the board about the success of Sutherland soccer players and there success rates , so theyve spent some money along with a vein storyline and some nice little "gimmicks" so they can get around these desperate fans , its not all rose coloured goggles , rather a loan of money for a return on investment being percentages of players going to another RIVAL code , Sharks are being taken on a ride for here , suckers deal.

Yes we have a marketing department which Paul Donaghy is the head of. Sponsorships and Memberships fall under the marketing banner.

They have no money. Basically zero budget to do anything so see this as an excuse to not get creative.

I can't see Sydney playing actual HAL games there. Nobody would turn up.

what a stupid comment

if you bothered to do some research you would see that sutherland is the 2nd or 3rd (cant remember which one) largest participation in soccer in this country..

last year, syd played a trial at seymour shaw park against the local team NSW premier league team and sfa advertisement and it still drew a crowd of over 10k

good idea i reckon.

also the boxing. and the concert type things.

this is a venue we own. using it more than 12 times a year would be a smart thing.

I was talking about HAL games. Not trials. Sydney should never leave Moore Park.
