Bronco's are traditionally slump at this time and with no Wayne Bennett I cant see them comming back + they are missing key forwards.

Panthers, no Civoniceva & Lewis + other key players will hurt them.

Cowboys no O'Donnell, Payne & Bowen playing as weak as piss will struggle with only 3 home games left....

Who the hell has put Knights 8th after the last round, id put them 5th, what a c*ckhead!

Mullen will recover quick, he is a quick recoverer, look at the shoulder injury a few weeks ago!

Unfortunately we are 3 points behind Melbourne I really cant see us catching them, that being said stranger things have happened.

Knights will come around 5-6th and give the finals a real shake, one of the teams I'm really worried about.

For the run home

R19 - Bye
R20 v Sea Eagles (Gos - A) Loss
R21 v Roosters (EAS) Win
R22 v Eels (Par) Win
R23 v Storm (EAS) 50/50
R24 v Cowboys (EAS) Win
R25 v Raiders (Canb) 50/50
R26 v Panthers (EAS) Win

So saying we win one of the 50/50s we will finish on 15 wins.

Top 4 won't change.

I think Knights and Manly will make 5th and 6th with position decided on points difference

Broncos to make 7th.

Cowboys will miss Payne badly and be the big losers in the run home, I think they'll finish 8th.

Karma, just out of curiosity, who did you tip to beat us?

Sea Eagles, Storm, Cowboys ( was iffy on this game ) and Raiders.

And if one of those goes our way ( probably the Cowboys game ), I wouldn't be surprised if the Eels give us a tough game away from home as well. I don't think we will win both Cowboys and Eels games. I think we will win one lose one - whatever way it goes.

I honestly would not be surprised if we only win 2 more games, and a 3rd win ( over Penrith ) would be to get into the 8.

It isn't a real easy run home - especially without Mullen for the next few.

What amazes me is some people go on like I am a crap fan because I suggest we might lose more than win, but when you look at it, maybe some fans are viewing things out of red and blue blinkers?

Most here seem resigned to the Sea Eagles game being a loss, so I am hardly out on a limb there.

The Melbourne Storm game , even at EAS, is a game where we will be underdogs. We recently lost to them, and they still beat us even though we were the better team on the night - and that comes down to the Storm having the class advantage over us, which will only be more emphasised if we play them without Mullen.

The Eels recently gave us a shock playing at EAS, and add in Feleti Mateo and it being away from home, and its certainly no easy game and one that can genuinely go either way.

The Cowboys are responsible for our worse loss of the year, so assuming we beat them just because it is at EAS is a bit presumptuous , though it is a game we SHOULD win.

The Raiders in Canberra is a tough game for EVERY team no matter of ladder position, so we definitely can't assume that is a win for us either.

I mean, when you look at it, I'm just being as unbiased as I can when I look at the games, and there's some pretty glaring evidence there that none of the games should be treated as ' wins ' more than a ' loss 'simply because these teams have beaten us already in 2009, and away from home games are never easy in the NRL - especially in Canberra.

I truly do believe that Panthers game might be make or break.

Look at our halves. Everyone is going on about how crap Rogers is, so what makes you guys think he is all of a sudden some consistent saviour that can be depended on?

Remember the last time Dureau/Rogers played together against Souths ( and we will be a very similar line up for the next few weeks ). And this is assuming we don't have any other injuries in the interim!!
