Inglis is the best in the game IMO.

If we was still playing fullback who knows how much higher people would rate him.

There isnt a whole lot i wouldnt do to have Greg Inglis playing at #3 for the Raiders... seriously, he's a freak. If anything he's under-rated. His talent seems to have no end

Helltwat - 12 months. Things change. Basing Inglis' mythical brilliance on bumping off a player Roy Bell could bump off - and a bloke who couldn't get past Kimmorley - well done.

Matai's star has fallen, but now Hodges is the best centre, And I'd still have Folau over Inglis.

Hayne owns 'em all BTW.

He should be playing fullback IMO

fullback is a much more important position in the modern game and he
would easily dominate the position.

Given a little space inglis would be devastating. This may sound crazy but I would move billy slater on from Melbourne , move inglis to no.1 and use slater's money to buy a high quality centre

Matai was never a star. Ever.

Folau is nothing on Inglis.

And to say its been 12 months... Inglis was just as dominating last year that's why this thread is funny.

Take Queenslanders about a year to work out jokes, doesn't it?

Inglis was huge in last years GF, wasn't he

Anyone would struggle to stand out in a 40-0 loss wouldnt they. Plus he was playing out of position at 5/8. And he won a man of the match award last year in Origin 2.

Inglis is clearly the best centre around, hopefully we get to see an Inglis vs Hodges match sometime again this season.

Though I do think Inglis is a excellent player, the guy has gone downhill IMO. He's become lazy, carrying to much weight, lost speed and become far far too arrogant. So many times I'm seeing now after he is tackled walking towards the markers trying to act tough & picking fights.
He's just relying on running over the top of people these days when before he would find gaps easily. That will really hinder him in the years to come.
Don't get me wrong, he is a great player but I can only see him going downhill.

To me Jarryd Hayne's talent has no end. The burst down the left flank in Origin 3 left all defenders in his wake, he is surprisingly very quick. Of course he has been guilty of being lazy and disinterested in the past but I think he has come to put that behind him

Interesting thread

I don't think I got anything wrong

Let me just say- I never denied that Inglis was a fantastic ball runner, but he certainly isn't any more than a weak 6'4"

Folau is a solid 6'5", bigger than Inglis and better at breaching the advantage line, but doesn't have the speed

That's about all. Both scary talented players.

I think the whole Queensland back line are a bit over rated, and i think the NSW back line are a bit better than what people are making them out to be!

Lets not even put Falou in the same class as Inglis. I wouldnt say Falou is a scary talent, he was a better player at the Storm but Inglis is better in both attack in defense.

This needs a bump.

Rep player 2009, destroys Broncos major semi final.

Will he destroy Sunday for Parramatta?
