nah..each to his own i guess. PWD a little more "metalcore-ish" though i spose...which is why alot dont like them. i love em. hardcore isnt usually my preferred genre.

Definitely, there are varied music tastes on here. People know what I like and I know what people like. That's what makes these convos decent.
Never seen the craze about metalcore or any "core" thing, it sounds all generic to me.

i honestly hate the tag "metalcore" or deathcore....i use it because alot of people recognise these bands in that genre. Metal is metal...there are differing sub genres but when you get into sub-sub genres thats getting too crazy.

My taste varies from death, black, "core", rock, thrash...all depends. Alot of the newer "metalcore" stuff is very generic...trying to sound like KSE.

I must say, everything post 2000 has been woeful...I grew up through the 90s and its music was generally decent...I hate todays hiphop trends...

I can't tell the difference between many of them. :lol:

I hate the tags, too - apparently Heaven Shall Burn are metalcore. Most ridiculous suggestion I've ever heard, seeing as they're brual. And 'core isn't. Generally. Not as brutal as HSB.
