I was determined just to browse through here and not post, till I seen this sh*t.
If I want to know how a JV can be run into the ground, have one good year and then not challenge again in the foreseeable future, I will ask Wests.

Upset Saints didn't make it through to this week?, yes I am, I wouldn't be a true supporter if I wasn't.
Remember, dickhead, but for an ill timed pass from Jamie Soward which Grothe intercepted, you may well have been celebrating right now as Parra would not have been there.
I don't mind the dogs, but seeing sh*t come like that sprouted leads me to say that, in spit of the scoreline, Saints put more questions to Parra then the Dogs did.

You got to week 3, good for you, all you had to beat was a team that stumbled into 7th place, we got beat by the same team that has gone on to beat you.
I think it was more luck than grace that has seen your team lose only by 12, that could have been much worse.

considering the amount of line breaks parra made (10 to dogs 2) dogs only let in 4 tries i think they did well with their goal line defence against us. i think they played a better game then dragons did in first round of the finals.

i was actually worried wtching the first 20-30 mins of the game parra looked like they were tired already and dogs forwards were testing parras forwards kinda reminded me of the dragons in final round of regular season.....but parras defence was the key.

dogs played well.....and is the team to let in the least amount of points against parra in the finals

Verry funny Doggiesfan09. You must be acomedian. The dogs cheat steal & Choke. Your new phrase should be " Bought not Bred". You critise the rorters for buying your players but this year you bought ten players and still choked. You are hypocrits. You salary cap cheats. I am sure the Parra supporters are having hot dogs for dinner just like I did when we beat the bullcheats.

but please remind me didnt dragons buy

draius boyd
michael weyman
neville costigan
jeremy smith
luke priddis (granted didnt play much)
nathan fien
mickey paea
matthew head

and dont forget the best coach in the league
Wayne Bennett

thats a fair amount of decent buys and dragons were favs all year almost got minor premiers and bowed out in week 2

That wasn't a choke, I was going for Parra on the night but very easy to acknowledge that the Bulldogs did very well and fans should be proud of the effort.

Don't forget the Bulldogs lost their fullback in the first minute and those things sometimes happen in big matches, you lose a key player and you start on the backfoot. Brett Kimmorley didn't have his best game but gutsy for even playing, I bet the cheek hurt him a lot during the game.

I don't like to use the word choke, it gets used far too often especially in this place and simply losing to a better side and giving it your all is not a choke.

Saying the Bulldogs choked is not giving Parra enough credit, they lost Pattern early and they slugged it out with us to the final whistle. Great game by 2 very good sides. And well done to Hazem who has been a ornament to our great game.

TAB had us at $2.50 and the Eels at $1.45 - and it showed. They were the favorites. They won. We lost but we didn't choke. Plus our best player was out for nearly an hour.

TAB SPORTS BET had it $1.90 a piece (in fridays main game telegraph)

we were missing our captain and front rower for 75min of the game

plus laurie daley tipped the dogs :D

I dont think the dogs choked, they just didnt have the flair or variety in attack to score points. defended stoutly, not overall didnt creat much chances (compared to parra)

Comiserations to the Doggies and their fans, thanks for a great game.

To all the Saints Fans in here trying to pass on the chokers tag, forget it, your side have not won a farkin premiership for 30 farkin years and it don't even look likely for another 30.

ST Merge Illawarra are the biggest chokers in rugby league history and will always be remembered for their underacheiving ways.

I now know why poor Brian Smith cant win a premiership, it's because he first coached Illawarra and St George and caught the chokers disease.

karma came back and bite the dogs supporters again this year , the minor premiership and now the prem final

if the eels were chokers in 2005 because they and the dragons were favoured to make the 2005 grand final

waiting for the explaination why the bulldogs are different

Hahaha, Saints fans calling other teams chokers!!!

Dogs did their best, but just not good enough on the night. Can the Dragons fans really say their team did the same?

Dragons and Bulldogs should play off for the CHOKERS CUP next year.

I think there were a couple of things that killed off our chances.

Firstly Kimmorley made some shocking decisions (he choked?). We were up 6-0 and going great, he tried a dinky little kick on the half way, eels got a repeat set and scored off it. Secondly, we had all the momentum, 25 seconds and 3 tackles to go to half time. Eels defence was stretched, we should have tried to go for the try for at least 2 more tackles, instead Kimmorley went the f/g. That was a monumental mistake IMO, it was obvious we needed to score tries and that was our best chance to do it. Then there were the awful 5th tackle options in the latter part of the game.

The 2nd thing that killed us was Greg Eastwood, or perhaps Moore leaving Eastwood on the field instead of giving him a rest. 2 of Parramatta tries were scored because of a gap that could and should have been plugged by Eastwood. Eastwood just stood there, out on his feet and watched Burt and Mortimer score.

And the 3rd thing that killed us was Parramatta. They were awesome, and as pointed out by I think Gould, when a team offloads like that it takes so much out of the opposition. Kimmorley's and Eastwood's shockers could easily be attributed to the fatigue caused by Parra's great ability to offload.

Good luck in the G/f eels.
