Depending on how Ryles goes!

8 Poore
9 Farah
10 Ryles
11 Watmough
12 Creagh
13 O Donnell (very unlucky not to have made Aussie Side)

14 Tom Learoyd Lahrs
15 Luke Lewis/Kurt Gidley
16 Brett White
17 Michael Weyman

It all depends on form.

I don't want to see Paul Gallen picked in a rep side again! His to slow and HE SHOULD OF BEEN IN A BETTER POSITION TO MAKE THE TACKLE ON SAM BURGESS FOR BOTH HIS TRIES IN FOUR NATIONS FINAL.

But I think that is an awesome pack! With the likes of Luke Douglas, Keith Galloway and Feleti Mateo in the mix. Feleti should push Luke Lewis for a spot in my opinion both would play similar roles off the bench.

Even backline will be lethal with plenty of options. In Bold is who I would go with.

1 Jarryd Hayne/Brett Stewart
2 Chris Lawrence/David Williams
3 Michael Jennings/Matt Cooper
4 Josh Morris/Timana Tahu
5 Brett Morris/Eric Grothe(Off his grand final performance shows he is good for big games, hope his form can rise)
6 John Sutton/Trent Barret/Todd Carney/Terry Campese
7 Jarrod Mullen/Mitchell Pearce/Brett Kimmorley

I left out Luke O'Donnell as well my favourite forward in the game cannot believe it. I would bring him into lock and put Watmough on the bench for some fresh leg impact

8. Ryles, provided he emulates his 2008 form, otherwise, Douglas
9. Ennis
10. Weymen,
wasn't outstanding but probably our best prop of 2009 series, would be silly to drop him
11. Lewis, fantastic defence, would like to see him defend out wider against the likes of Inglis but can't see it happening.
12. Creagh, explains itself.
13. Gallen, error prone and stupid, but can't ignore his stats.

14. Watmough, bringing him from the bench is more logical, would like to see him injected around the 30 minute mark against a tiring QLD defence, particularly without Johnson.
15. Poore, largely due to a lack of viable options.
16. TLL, would select Bailey, but is clearly slowing down and while TLL doesn't impress me a whole load, hes a better option than White, Kite etc.
17. Waterhouse, would select Hindmarsh starting with Lewis here, but hes retired. Strong, hard runner who defends well enough.

Still don't understand people's fascination with Brett White, clearly an average player whose had a good run because he runs off Smith and plays within Melbourne.

9. Ennis over Farah for now. Farah seems to struggle with confidence in rep footy, ie S.O.O this year and 4 nations match. He doesnt bring his A game which he should
10. Jason Ryles (should be well equipped with both experience and skill)

11. Creagh
12. Luke O'Donnell (Tough nut and always puts 100% in)
13. Anthony Watmough

14. Kurt Gidley
15. Justin Poore
16. Michael Weyman
17. T.L.L.

I hope Jason Ryles hardens the f**k up, because he has truck loads of talent but not enough ticker for Origin football. If he did, he could be the best prop in the world, but untill then he is too soft.

Depending on form and availability obviously, definitely in the mix are guys like Justin Poore, Brett White, Ben Creagh, Feleti Mateo, Tom Learoyd Lahrs and Jason Ryles. Brent Kite, Ben Cross, Luke Bailey etc just haven't done it for me. I would say fit and firing the team I've picked would likely be too big, strong, flexible and aggressive for the Maroons pack. Which is the only place we can really put it over them. Picking our forward pack is so important next year. The NSW forward pack candidates have it all at their feet. It's a matter of who picks it up and runs with it early in the season.

12. Ben Creagh
13. Greg Bird

I can see why you would say that, but based on the form he showed when he was fit this season, I can't see how a fit Galloway would miss out on being in the 17 and I just feel he is a better fit as a starter.

Totally agree (not a Tigers supporter either). Justin Poore is over-rated, and Luke Douglas is a great young player, but not in the same league as Galloway.

If fit, Galloway is in the top five Australian props going around.

I don't get the hype about Ryles, he never played well in the Origin arena.
