Hi all...... newbie here...... with membership questions....... (hope you don't mind).

After a decade in Melbourne I'm shiftin back to Sydney and getting a membership to the Rabbits..... only going to go with the GA option though.......... and I've convinced a mate to also sign up and here's the stuff I'm wonderin:

With GA season passes, can you choose either end of the stadium to sit on any given game day? Or are you given a season pass to only North OR South end? (and if you're only allocated one end, which is the better?)

In wet weather, is there ANY undercover where you can go?

If for instance my mate can't go, is it any drama to let someone else use the ticket?

And finally, one of the main appeals with GA is that I'm hoping there are some empty banks of seats where one can stand to watch the game? (or are the stadium ushers Nazis's?)

Thanks for any/all help. Cheers

Welcome Meg.You certainly picked the right year to return to Sydney.A year in which we will be returned to our rightfull place at the top.

Yes,you can go to either end of the ground. If its going to rain, bring a rain coat, and in the GA area Souths have a supporters group area called "the Burrow" You can stand right at the back of the the Burrow and with like minded supporters, you can drink and sing.Hope this helps.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs wish to thank and congratulate all of their 2010 Ticketed Members, as the Club has now surpassed its 2009 Ticketed Membership level.

The Rabbitohs’ Ticketed Membership now sits at 8,687, passing last year’s total of 8,638.

The Rabbitohs are currently leading the way in the NRL’s Race to 10,000 Ticketed Members, but the Dragons are in hot pursuit. It is of utmost importance that that Rabbitohs supporters take a look at the Ticketed Membership packages available and see which one suits them.

Make sure you ask your mates and family if they have joined for the new season as yet.

Ticketed Members get access to the Charity Shield against the Dragons on Saturday 27 February, plus the Rabbitohs have four home games in the first five rounds of the 2010 NRL seasons which you will have entry to as well.

Also don’t forget that only Ticketed Members can purchase the last few remaining tickets to this Sunday’s Return to Redfern clash with the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles.

So don’t delay and click here to purchase a Ticketed Membership for season 2010.

You can also call the Membership team on (02) 8306 9922 or visit the office at 104 George St in Redfern.

The Rabbitohs’ Ticketed Membership has hit the 9,000 mark this afternoon (Monday), meaning the Rabbitohs are now only 1,000 Ticketed Memberships away from the magic 10,000 milestone.

The Rabbitohs also passed 15,000 total Members today, another fantastic achievement with more than a month remaining to the start of the season.

On the back of yesterday’s Return to Redfern ‘Members Only’ match at the Australian Technology Park Performance Centre at Redfern Oval, the Rabbitohs Members have shown how passionate they are about their team, turning out in the heavy rain to cheer their team on to a 42-12 victory.

On behalf of the Rabbitohs we congratulate and thank all of our Members for their ongoing support as we strive to be the first Sydney Club to reach 10,000 Ticketed Members.

If you are not yet a Member of the Rabbitohs or are yet to renew for the new season, please click here.

geez, Return to Redfern has seen a real boost to the numbers. We had a bit of a lull there for a little while but we've exploded away from the pack again since the weekend. We should hit 10k before Coffs Harbour one would imagine now. Wish we had another trial this weekend. It would get us over the line for sure.

Hopefully they will be pumping the membership hard in Coffs.
