DaSuperHero2’s 2010 premiership ladder and a brief look at teams -

Broncos

Ivan a year smarter , his men a year smarter , the class of his players a year more experienced ,boast a classy side , lost Hodges and cutie , this will dry there attack for a good while , I’ve never seen coach Henjak have to deal with major injury yet , especially if lockyer goes down , coach proved he cannot handle the origin period and will lose some games and momentum there , home ground a graveyard for most , also loss of Tonnie Carrol and Taylor will not help there stocks.
Key Personnel- Simms , Kenny & Parker , whatever happens on the field for the broncos these boys need to really take a stand and move forward the rest will follow , if they don’t fire no on else can.
To Beat this team , Arm wrestle team , keep at it for the first 20mins , whilst doing this do not try and blow them off the park as they play for 80 mins just play direct and kick deep
Predicted Finish – 8th

Dogs
Coming off a remarkable year for the Canterbury club , solid set off dominating forwards and backs , this team loves to defend the dogs of war will be hard to go past in most games especially if there attack starts to click early , Kimmorley will not be as good as he has been last year ,lost the game’s best sharpshooter games will be closer this year , but once again , this is one of the best clubs of the decade in the “grind em out” mentality , have signed well with Paea , who can be a destroying runner and turner is good depth.
Key Personel – Kimmorley and Idris need to strike up something special this year , really special if it is to work for the boys from Canterbury
To beat this team ,Run around there forwards and get in early on their big men , tire these boys out of the game
Predicted Finish 6th

Raiders
Strong set of forwards the green machine boasts this year, superb home ground advantage and coach Furner will be better , depth a problem , have lost a few of their key players , any major injury to this squad and there in real trouble
Key Personel – Terry Campese , Josh Dugan , One lead from the back , one lead from the front
To beat this team –holding the ball and letting raiders excerpt all their energy , keep tackling and let them submit themselves
Predicted Finish 12th

Cowboys
Will be better then last year , but I don’t see any room in the 8 for them , travelling away from home they just don’t want to play ,Have a team with JT , but lack quality forwards only O Donnel is there Webb Southern and there sorta blokes must be on song , sometimes they don’t even whisper , superb coach though
Key Personnel - Willie is on everyone’s lips down there but the question is what’s on willies lips a real desire or drama marred times ahead?
To beat this team Pressure Aaron Payne and JT , focus on them and contain Donnell , the rest will come.
Predicted finish 10th

Eagles
Not much movement for the peninsula this year , the loss of the ox is not as great as its made out to be , OK side across the park though if there strike machine is out expect them to tumble , will hurt and upset a few teams with a genuine home ground advantage
Key Personnel
The Stewart Bros and the Halves , if both of the Stewarts are playing they need to fire and be at their best for the Warringah boys to have a shot at the 8 , also need a gel a genuine halves combo , Lyon is not the right man for this position
To beat this squad Keep kicking the ball out or dead , make them restart everytime
Predicted finish 14th

Storm – Up high again , strong home ground advantage real tight knit football , genuine superstars , have bought well and will have good depth , hard hitting forwards and classy backs not much more you can ask for.
Key Personnel – C.Smith if he plays well the team does , if he doesn’t the team doesn’t , premiership relies on this bloke , he is up to it though.
To beat them Slow down there play the balls , kick dead , play one out and direct alternatively hit cam smith with everything
Predicted finish 2nd

Knights – Will hurt a few teams this year but not enough to send them into the 8 , fortress is no more and a general lack of real class on the field , if Gidley is injured there in real trouble , he stops a lot of tries for these blokes
Key Personnel-Isaac De Gois & Gidley , these two need to play with each other and play well , so well that there team balances out and edges of these two men.
To beat them Blow them off the park , hammer and rip in for the first 15 with everything you got
Predicted finish 13th

Eels – have signed brilliantly, superb depth , superb squad , not a fan of the coach and will lose a few games due to his open style , the eels are not known for an arm wrestle but will have gained plenty of knowledge about it from last year’s gf , lots of genuine RL players in this squad who when they click will go into a special element of their own , good year ahead for Parramatta.
Key Personnel – Mateo and Mortimer , they need to be on their game everything else will take its place with the class in this team
To beat Parramatta Encourage them to offload and get ready to belt whoever receives the ball , bomb this team high all day long and kick at growth everyday of the week
Predicted Finish 4th

Penrith - Mat Elliot is a good coach , good set of forwards who will back themselves Penrith is a good place for RL and a good home advantage, the squad is strong , some of their key smaller boys have put weight on , times are looking up for the Penrith but have lost there hooker Aiton , I don’t think they realize the Importance of him as a player
Key Personnel-Last years littler men , they’ve grown bigger stronger and faster this year , watch out for these men , there on the rise
To beat them ,Blow them off the park with big runs big hits and wide running in the first quarter of the game
Predicted finish is 7th

Sharks Wobbly around the park if they need a leader they’ve got one , if the leader goes down where to next? Have signed some players that will do nothing , (cue), Aiton although will be class , Ricky had to make up for his blunder of losing De gois , Dean Collis set for a big year and Blake Ferguson on the rise , they need to start actually seeing Cronulla as a home ground and using it that way , there record there is starting to really shake
Key Personnel- Douglas & Snowden Cronulla’s force , they fire Cronulla will be in the games , they don’t well you can assume the rest , they need to change Barrets role and also make sure Scott Porter is playing
To beat them whatever speed they set at the start , grind away with them , they can’t keep there speed all game
Predicted finish 11th

Souths – Superb Forward pack , Fast backline a new coach a new British inport that is probably the best player in his country ,the 10k mark just upon us , Souths are on the rise and fast, this team will hurt you If you don’t turn up to play , Sandow will take control this year and Sutton will go close to representing , I wouldn’t want to be running at this forward pack
Key Personal – the halves if they fire , everything else will sit in place nicely
To beat them run at the big men all day long , no need for big hits or collisions keep running at them get there tackle counts high and keep forcing them back then attack the outside
Predicted finish 3rd

Saints – Strong Forwards , Classy Backs , a wealth of experience gained after last year, Bennet , strong depth and will have practiced attack in the offseason till the cows came home
Key Personel – Jamie Soward & Hornby – they cannot win the title based on Hornby at Halfback , will have to rectify this
Predicted Finish 1st

Roosters , New coach is the main point , the man Smith loves to build team , turns average players into solid / good first graders has recruited very well depth is strong , new era for the club plenty of players turned over , will be looking at lot better then last season that’s for sure
Key Personnel – Anasta – Pearce , need these two at their best all season , both have proven time and time again that they are overated , if they don’t prove crictics wrong this season could impact theircareers especially Anasta
To beat them Kick deep grind away and let them do what they have to , to get out of there red zone
Predicted finish 15th

Warriors
Solid across the park , superb full back but a coach to be desired , not very good once they’ve crossed the Tasman and a early war with the Warriors puts them off them games most of the time , they haven’t recruited to well but depth is strong , need a outstanding effort from all players to go anywhere this year
KeyPersonel- Wade McKinnon – needs to apply himself and inject himself as much as humanely possible
To beat them encourage offloading all day long , another team if you grind away will drop off sooner or later
Predicted 16th

West Tigers
Excellent recruitment , with an already talented line up , very attacking style side , with finesse on every part of the park , Tim Sheens will take care of this side very well , super home ground advantage , everything is on the way up with this club
Key Personnel-Robbie Farah – he fires the the whole club will play its natural football and fire
To beat them Attack the centre of the park , hitting holes and making holes then run the outside backrowers running at the backs in these clashes are of utmost importance
Predicted finish 5th

Titans
Have recruited well and have a genuine team full or natural RL players confidence and experience will be better after bowing out last year , all round good roster and this time round will fire in attack & defence , excellent coach and good home ground advantage
Key Personel – Prince and Bailey , Prince needs to lead and control the gents , Bailey needs to rip in and lead the way for the fellow forwards
To beat them Bomb all day long ,attack with your hooker and hit the ruck one or two out , roll on don’t stop for the backs till your in there 50
Predicted finish 9th

So therefore

Saints
Melbourne
Souths
Parramatta
Tigers
Dogs
Penrith
Broncos
Titans
Cowboys
Sharks
Raiders

excuse me for taking this obvious piss take serious  but...

Im curious, apparently the Raiders have lost a few key players
our loses include:
Stuart Flanagan who played almost all year in Souths Logan
Adrian Purtell who is by everyone's account, a fringe fg at absolute best
Phil Graham who spent most of the year in SL or injured, and is on the decline, and if not for injury to others probably wouldnt have finished the year in FG
Nigel Plum who was a part time benchie but mostly fulltime reggie
Glen Turner who bared played and when he did, was absolutely terrible

Which of these guys would you consider a key player

All the Panthers fans would agree.

And the Canberra fans. Skeepe loved the guy and was devestated when he left. I don't think he ever recovered his sanity after that.

And why are Manly coming 14th? I'm not that confident this year but I don't think 14th is on the cards. Surely this thread is a pisstake.

Manly won the comp with Lyon in the halves and alot of it was thanks to him in that position. I know its only your opinion but let me just say it sucks balls.

Anyone who names themselves after an old beer has NFI

Love the bit about Henjack not having yet dealt with a major injury. He has $400k investment injured for most of last year. What's his name - Saudi...Palestine....Syria...ISRAEL?

Let me tell you a little something about DaSuperhero ... he's a little on the simple side. His "predicted ladder" here is nothing else other than a ranting listing of the teams he likes and dislikes in order. It appears he hates the Roosters more than Manly this year :)

If you've ever had his pathetic presence in your club's forum then you'd know exactly what i was talking about lol.
