It is a shame about Rohan Ahern I had heard good things about him. I think PJ is on his last legs with all his injuries of late.

Initially it was supposed to be a couple of weeks but later it was found to be more serious and it required surgery.

Henjak was livid they kept Yow Yeh on the field with a knee injury. He came off, but then they put him back on ... he made the last run of the night, which is probably when the damage was done.

Seems strange as they had seven/eight replacements.

Mmmm ... and the coach of the Indigenous All Stars was ... oh, the coach of our first round opponent.

I read today that he might get a run with Redcliffe round 1.

In a way Yow Yea out could help us long term as I still see Kemp as our no1 winger. So long term finding our 2nd winger would be the best news for us, whethr that be Winterstein or whoever.

It's hard to say that at the moment. Yow Yeh at the back end of the season was producing some tries which were on par to those of Kemp's efforts in 2008. Kemp hasn't played good footy for 18 months, Yow Yeh finished last season on a high. I think Yow Yeh is definately our 1st winger, Kemp and Winterstein should battle it out for the other wing.

Kemp was playing for the Warriors who are and were a rabble. Especially when giving wingers opportunities to score.

No doubt, but still, he hasn't played good footy in 18 months and will take a while to find his rhythm again IMO. Yow Yeh however, is on a roll and if it weren't for this injury I think he would have cemented his place as one of the best wingers in the NRL. You can't expect Kemp to be in his 2008 form as soon as he runs out in round 1.

Hae always said that I do feel botrh of these two are the wingers we should pick. Pick a specialist fullback there (not Hoffman please) and lets go from there. Other option is Kemp at FB, and Yeo Yow and Winterstein on the wings.

PJ Marsh likely to need surgery to mend discs on his spine which would end his career.

Do it PJ.

One of the biggest regrets I'll have as a fan is never seeing him perform at his peak at the Broncos. On his day, he was one of the best rakes in the competition.

Spot on Pete. It's a shame he didn't get more time under Bennett because he would have really developed even further.

Hardest hitter pound-for-pound in the competition without doubt.

What a tragedy!!!! PJ was in fine form i think it was start of 08 until origin time then Ennis took over after he was injured. Hasn't been the same since. But thats pj, i'll remember that played for the broncos. So robust in defence for a guy his size.

Antonio Winterstein has a fitness test otherwise the side goes into next week injury free.

Hala is back for Redcliffe.
