The level of patience in Marshalls game is now at a level that brings with it some consistancy.

Definatley top 5

No, most people think is Ennis is better. Ennis shouldn't even be in the top 20 imo.

Matter of opinion. Ennis and Farah play two different styles of footy, so I couldn't separate them in terms of contribution to their teams. On his day Benji is definitely a top 5 player, and with his consistency increasing, i'm guessing he may cement his place there in the coming seasons

still a long way to go for Benji.

Marshall and Thurston are the two best players in the game at the moment. They don't have similar games though. Marshall is all flair and trick shots and Thurston is vision par excellence.

Marshall is certainly a top player. Probably in the top 10 players in the fame and certainly one of the most influential.

Farrah is not though. That bloke folds like a cheap umbrella in the wind when the pressure is on

Like against Manly when he poked it through the line for the win with 5 minutes remaining?

Form tends to be up and down - Thurston and Lockyer are the best playmakers at delivering consistency at a very high level. In other positions,Prince, Slater, Petero, and possibly Ennis, Soward, Tongue, Patten, Smith, Farah, Cronk and Simpson deliver high level class week in, week out of a quality that will dominate - but others need to be on their game around them too

None of them single handedly drags their team out of the mud like Benji does, but maybe that's because of Farah. Farah is conststently good. Behind him, Benji is the best player in the world.

If was setting up a team I'd happily spend half my salary cap on Benji, Slater, Petero and either Farah or Ennis. The rest can go on good honest toilers and a pair of good finishing wingers of the level of Merrit. Keep 'em fit and motivated and you'll win the comp.

Marshall is the most marketable player in the game today.

Has all the ability and flair in the world and can string two sentences together off the pitch.

Why the NRL don't use him as the poster boy is beyond me especially since he is locked up long term IIRC.

It'd be great to see him play alongside a top class halfback again.

best five eighth in the game at the moment. Since the World Cup win I think he has been the best 6 in the game. Lockyer is good as well but getting old and his best days are behind him. Others like Soward have only been good for 12 months.

Also he will probably rival Wiki as the most influential NZ player in the modern era by the end of his career.

He used to be vaaaastly overrated, made too many stupid errors and mistakes. But hes really refined his game a lot at the moment. I cant remember which commentator said it, but they said hes really turned into a good ball playing 5/8 who can play to structure when need be. Top 20 player in the game at the moment.

Arguably the most talented player in the game.

If he continues to develop certain aspects of his game, he'll be the best.

Tigers barely in the top 15 teams?
