Is this thread for real? This sign has been around forever, it's an institution at every saints game home or away. Who gives a sh*t if the gst is a long gone topic. This sign is tradition and the guy is a f**king legend

Composter, no need to be touchy about it. You're just struggling to keep up. I should be more sympathetic, I know. We've had plenty great St George teams since the 1960s. You just don't know.

Can you please enlighten me to these GREAT teams if memory serves me correct 30 years and nothing to show for it. I'm a little confused :sarcasm:

I think this thread has confirmed that there is overwhelming support for Mark and his GST sign, coming from Dragons supporters.

No surprise to see that trolls and a couple of blowies are the only ones opposed.

Gotta admit, displaying a sign that refers back to sixties is really pushing the nastalgia thing :)
:? WTF??

Unbelievably insensitive and sh*t stirring thread. I have known GST for 14 years and over those years that guy has never missed a St George game. Nobody has the right to come on here an suggest the GST sign goes. That sign is and always will be a part of the dragon army.

Go waste your breath elsewhere

Actually this thread will give us something to laugh about at next weeks game. Will you be there to join in the fun? I think not

You forgot to mention that Mark is going to miss the first few hours of your birthday party to be at the football - before coming over and celebrating a big win over the sharkies. Anyone who is willing to miss a close friends birthday party to go to a football game must be dedicated.

Why deny the right for a man to support his football team? His banner is symbolic of his heart, his passion and his support for the club. And it is also proof of his support.

When you prove you have been to every game of every season for over a decade you come back and start another thread. Until then get lost. Get off GST's back!

I think that sign might be a jinx on our club. I was looking through some old black and white photos of our last grand final win and couldn't see that sign anywhere in the crowd. Maybe if he stopped bringing it we might finally win a premiership again.

I think people who join a forum to post their one and probably only ever comment on a guy and his banner is a jinx.

Thank you for the contribution from [unresolved host] in Bellevue Hill.

I'm suspect the real Uncle Reg would tell you to get stuffed.

He doesnt smoke
He supports the sharks

12 games a year (11 when they go to Adelaide) with that high voltage power tower (and not to mention the stench of the swamp) i enough to rot your brain.

I know. And with what you said, constantly listening to a gang of rednecks and teenyboppers all in the same t shirt singing "Up Up Cronulla" would drive anyone to insanity.
