Incorrect.

It was the club logo done into a small pewter keyring, flat and had something like Member 2007. I still have it, and use it on my keys.

Kinda like the ones you get from RSLs with the club logo and the year and member number written on it.

I would rather pay $10 more for membership and get a reebok hat with the club logo and 2010 member written on it and a really good quality keyring.

our keyring history is as follows (from what i remember)

the 2007 - metal keyring looked good but scratched real bad
2008 - is my favorite the metal football ,but it weighed 8000kg and eventually broke off
2009 - boot was a good idea but fell apart
2010 - is terrible worst one yet, i got given a red boot on Sunday at the game and have swapped it already.

Yep the red keyring was the one before the missile and was really good. That is what I expect, not the crappy thing of this year. BTW the missile - that football - was good, but so bloody heavy. Mine ended up breaking off the chain. the Boot was ok, nearly drove me mad trying to tie up the lace though!

I think there was another one in there somewhere, a little metal white jersey with a red 'V' and after a few months all the paint came off, leaving a little silver jersey with a silver 'V'. Or is that the 2007 one?

If so, there was the red oval shaped one that had a resin covering on it that RedVee mentioned. That one was pretty good.

I've put the little boot from last year on the zipper of my backpack.

Why do you all want a scarf? who actually doesn't have a Dragons one?? I've got 3!!

Whats your point? You have 3. And?

10,000 plus scarves getting a good bit of use at a game like you see in the soccer overseas would create much more of an atmosphere then a hat. Plus it keeps our melons warm. Ive never heard of anyone complaining about the UV damage suffered in 2 degree night time games in the middle of July. If they use a bit of common sense a design a cracker of a scarf, it'd be better then any hat ive seen in the past. Those summer scarfs they brought out at the end of last year for example = :D.

Bringing out a backpack is good cos we've never had one of them before

Never happy with anything. lol.

You should write to the club and offer your suggestions for 2011 Membership packs.

I for one am not a member because of what is/isn't in the pack - more so for getting cheaper tickets to matches and supporting our club.

very true mate, no 1 priority is getting home game tickets, supporter packs are just a bonus for kids to enjoy, and i believe at the red 'v' forum something was mention about a scarf, and i think doust sort of said they might look into it.

To those questioning the scarf:
a) how many lame red vee member hats do you already have?
b) Imagine the hill packed with our 13,000 members holding up their "Dragons 2010 MEMBER" scarves like this. Magic

Hmmm.. Lemme think...
A hill full of scarves being held up and not a flag or witty banner to be seen.
The colour and movement of they huge-ass custom made Dragon Army banners replaced by red strips of something unreadable on tv, on the field, and from the opposite stand.

Pass.

I'm all for a scarf in the membership pack, but it will stay round my neck.

if your watching a game at canberra -2 celsius, your long johns on, and anything else to keep you warm, wouldn't your neck be the best place for a scarf.
