Peachey on Renouf in the 97 SL final stopping him from scoring under the posts and making it harder to extend the lead was a better tackle than Ryan's...

I voted for Ryan just to give him 1 vote lol but in all seriousness Sattler's was a better tackle but i always thought Ryan's tackle was underrated and didnt get the recognition it deserved.

Ryan's tackle is only memorable to Bulldogs fans and that same tackle gets made every week in the NRL.

tbh Sattler just sauntered across field to tackle a slow winger when Sattler had at least a 5 metre start on the angle. He was entitled to make the tackle.

sattlers of course, crocker was through the gap and may or may not have gone on to score or pass to support, plus ryan had support in defence. byrne had gone through and was certain to score, wesser wasnt going to get him, but sattler as an aging back rower manged to find something and put him over the sideline
