Is there any photo's of a similar view to that design for what is there now? Just want to see the height in comparrison to the current western stand, cos the hill just looks very small in the pic (or maybe it's alot smaller than it seems anyway)

being serious for a moment, i don't understand why you can't leave the stadium after the game thru the gandstand area from the hill, instead of walking all the way around.just my thought for the day.

I've never sat there. We gaze out across the hill to the ocean - magnificent.

Maybe they don't want the bottle neck it might cause in the spot where the stands merge (the corners).

There were a few more in the Illawarra Mercury today but my attempts to scan them went nowehere.

Suffice to say that if you look at the concept design you'll have a pretty good idea about how the stand will look, the biggest architectural difference is the roof.

Yeah - saw them - didn't really show that much - sort of from behind on the angle. I'd like a mock-up from the front. It looks very steep.

Illawarra Venues Authority website hasn't been updated and nothing on the Saints website.

Saw that - thanks Deacon. Looks good. Hard to tell really how it'll fit in.

I hate being up in the "nose-bleed" area of the Olympic Stadum, so I hope this isn't that bad ...

Just an idea for the new Stand. Why not issue a special card or something to all people who take out Season tickets in the new Stand for 2011. Maybe extend it to all Season Tickets holders at WIN for 2011 - wherever they sit.

For $20 more you can have a "GOLD" Foundation Card. Not a lot - but if it holds as many as they say we could raise $25k plus ?

People love this sort of thing.

Will look great once it's all finished, everythings looking up for the Dragons New upgrades for both Stadiums next is an extension to the Steelers club
