Sack Bellamy & the selectors...Simple!

Let's face it, Bellamy only got the job because of the success of Melbourne which we all now know was through cheating.

So in fact his crudentials aren't anything & his coaching on a level playing field are obviously copping a hammering!

First mistake.. Jamie Lyon as 5/8. Lyon has been tried at 5/8 by Manly & failed..he moved back to centre & is one of the best centres in the game at this point in time. Why would you pick him anywhere else! NSW needs another attacking half with a great kicking game! be it a another halfback or a 5/8...I'd go for Campese & stick with him. You need some mongrel in the halves!

2nd mistake
Jarryd Hayne on the wing....WTF are they thinking!!!!
As last year proved, Hayne is a natural attacker from the fullback position. He slots into the back line creating an extra man...ALA Lockyer style & he has one of the biggest kicking games there is! He is wasted on the wing & NSW showed that tonight!

The rest of the team are great players. NSW has players to match or better Qld except for the halves. In my opinion that is where we lost the game.

Cheers

I thought Lyon's attack was ok tonight. He had a couple of nice touches. Also he has not failed at 5/8, unless winning a GF 40-0 in that position is failing. However I agree he should be centre for NSW, I would go for Barrett at 5/8, always plays well for NSW.

I would be happy for Gidley at 6 if he must be in the side, hayne at 1 Lyon in the centres and Cooper can join Craigh watching the game in 3d at some f"cking Hardly Normal store somewhere.

To me Gidley is only on the bench, and he should be thankful for that. He tries his arse off but he is not the best fullback, not even the 2nd best fullback for NSW. He will be no good at 5/8 and just get in the way. Put him on the bench to cover hooker, backrow, backs etc. But since he is captain we will have see him again starting, probably at 6 next game.

I'm not saying he's hopless, Just that he's not a natural 5/8... same as when Parra had Hayne there. Failure is probably a bit strong, but he is way more dangerous in the centres.

NSW needs a natural 5/8.

Gidley's only position is on the bench, there's really no where else he can start from in my books as NSW has way too many specialists that are better in their preferred position!

Although I'm a Parra fan & probably biased, I think an 80 minute forward like Hindmarsh is also needed. even if he gets a breather, he always keeps going, especially at the back end of games, we need a bit more in defence!

Cooper and Creagh your kidding right? All the trys agains NSW came on there side of the field. If your gonna point fingers you should start at the other side were Tahu/ Hayne and then Idris were defending. Also i dont think i saw NSW put on a play were Morris or Cooper or even when Tahu came to this side of the field touched the ball.

Cooper is a myth. Dropped it cold twice and did f**k all else.

How this guy continues to walk into rep sides does my head in. He's sh*t.

Don't take offence to this but you are obviously not a Newcastle supporter - Gidley does not have the skill set to play in the halves. He might play there from time to time due shear lack of talent or injuries at club level but there is now way he should ever, I mean ever, be in the halves for NSW. He really should consider himself lucky to be selected as a utility for NSW.

I agree Spot On, but i did say if HE HAS TO BE THERE, because he is captain they will pick him again, and i think he offered more up in the line than he did at fullback and it will let Hayne play back were he belongs.

Defense is not our problem - that's what these knucklehead selectors don't realise.

They pick playmakers for their defence (Lyon) and not their attack. That's why we look as organised and creative as a monkey running a chook raffle.

Cooper is like Gidley - an automatic selection in rep sides.

Before Gidley was made captain last year, was he ever in a starting origin team? I can only remember him on the bench.

Im glad QLD didnt choose Adam Mogg to be our captain.

It really is quite embarrassing.

Origin is about wearing your heart on your sleeve and showing emotion over and above the norm and having a GO!
We lacked that in spades last night and cannot see that coming in whilst Bellamy continues to pick THE WRONG PLAYERS!!

The score line totally flattered NSW last night. QLD were the better side by a very long way.

Campese played ok last year and Gallen and Hindmarsh do the tough work and as well we need someone who can do something out of nothing like Carney the alcho and there is not much more that can do that for us to pick from

Cmon Hybrid, i can think of a few reasons he should be a walkin,

Ripped 8 Pack & Chest
Plays for the Dragons
Nicely sculptured jaw line
Plays for the Dragons
Ice meting smile
Plays for the Dragons
Shaven Haven
Plays for the Dragons

8 Reasons why Daley would select Cooper as first choice centre.

U cant argue with that.
