i wasunsure of having Prior at prop and think he really isnt cutout for it, we wouldbe better off having Creagh there and Prior wider if we want a second rower playing prop

Alas Norm, methinks he's referring to the fact that you're flogging a dead horse on the Stanley>Gaz point. Bennett must give Gaz the chance to redevelop into superstar status as he definitely has the potential; Stanley perhaps has it but longer term

Quig's was right, I have got dementia:shock:. Honest, I don't recall my previous 50 posts about kyle Stanley and Gaz Marknier:?.

Thanks for the assistance, Cagey.

Defensivly, In his prime, he'd go hard in the middle I'd recon. But he's probably as fit at a rocking horse at the moment.

Defensively I agree but in the early minutes I reckon that they don't have the leg drive that others do to take us forward when they're being gang tackled. Later in the game or wider out they're certainly effective in attack

With Gasnier back, Stanley will be back to Toyota Cup. He will only feature in the end of this season possibly as a utility interchange if Gasnier gets his strength and fitness up and starts at centre. Or when Cooper is injured again.
Famous last words if Gasnier this, if Cooper that ,come on got to stop hanging our hopes on these two

Wayne Bennett is probably the best coach in the history of the game. IMO his desire, his need if you like to achieve a premiership with the Dragons would be as great or greater than the most ardent supporter or even player.
What he will do is put the best options possible on the paddock for 2010 and liaise with players who are left out of the finals to ensure that they understand his rationale and where they fit into his future plans.
Gasnier and Cooper have shown in the past that they can produce world class results under pressure and in the toughest environment possible
Bennett and Jeremy Hickmans will give them every chance to reach peak condition before the finals. If they are at their best or near it, then they are better than current options and well and truly good enough to do the job against all comers
If they’re not up to it, Bennett will know and do what is required

Yep, that's pretty much it, Cagey. It is hard to doubt Bennett. Gasnier and Cooper, fit and in form is a no-brainer. Let's hope they're fit and in form when the real business starts.

Our 4 point break over 2nd place, plus our healthy F/A probably gives Bennett the luxury of tinkering with the side.
