Too all Rugby League fans, let's sell out the SCG this Sunday whether you are or are not a fan of either side this game will be possibly the game of the year. Let's face it the Roosters are the form team attacking weapons everywhere and the Dragons competition leaders who will once again be desperate to prove everyone wrong. FIRE UP!

roosters average 5 points better in attack
Dragons average 12 points better in defence

smithy's game plan for the roosters to have any chance should be defence.Roosters won't win it with thier attack

dragons to win :D.

similar to round 1 score

+1, ill be buying my tickets today

Can the dragons lose 3 in a row??

IMO if the dragons win the minor premiership is theirs, if they lose its wide open between the top 4 sides

Roosters by 10

The top attacking side vs the top defensive side.

No idea where this one is going.

Dragons will be using Boyd, Morris and Gasnier to target defensive weaknesses in Sam Perrett and SKD to get their points. If Smith has them switched on it could be another low scoring game for St George. Roosters are dangerous all over the park but the Dragons have the defensive line to limit their effectiveness.

Easts to win!

I wouldnt be gutted if the roosters did win , but i would be gutted if they won like this

1- pearce scores the winning try in the last play of the game

i would be devastated if
- pearce scores the winning try off a , offside, forward pass , obstruction , knock on
or any other illegal play

nightmares

I generally prefer to see attacking sides win over defensive ones, but at the same time the sooner the roosters end their streak the better for my team.

In saying that, this one is hard to tip. This is where we find out if the Dragon's have already choked, methinks.

Going to be an absolute ball tearer of a game, that is for sure.

I know Gaba will go on about how this will be won with defence, however I think the opposite is true. The roosters attack right now is some precision stuff, and the dragons simply will not be able to hold us to less than 3 tries in this one. We've scored 6, 6 and 8 in our last 3 wins so I'd expect the dragons defence to be able to halve that, but certainly not hold us to less than 18 points.

The dragons won't be able to win this one with 2 tries. They'll need to score more points than they have in quite a while to get over the line. They certainly have the team to do it and we certainly have the defence to allow them so its going to be a tight won thing either way.

Roosters by 4-8 points is my tip.

FFS I wish it were sunday already!

Zomgggg, matchup of the year and a perfect venue for it, would love to see the ticket sales throughout the week.

Gutted I may not be able to make it due to Sunday refereeing committments, maybe If I finish by 2.30 I could make it :D

Just find a reason to call off the game you are reffing, like send off 3-4 blokes from one side in the first 15 mins so that they have to forfeit.

Then you can get to the game in plenty of time.... providing you make it to your car obviously

Just as a heads up... remember the city 2 surf is this week and there are road closures, not sure what roads and whether it would effect u or not but just thought i would mention it.

Quite an obvious statement, but we need to find points in attack from somewhere.
The Roosters defence isn't as bad as people are making out.
When they concentrate, as they did last Saturday night, they actually defend quite well.
The only saving grace for me is that the Broncos put 30 past Easts, but could only manage 10 against us.
On the other side though, the Roosters scored 34 against Brisbane, we scored 6.
I'm not confident.

Can't wait for this one. Should be a beauty.

Looks like it'll state how genuine each team is about their September chances. Whether Dragons are on the exit ramp already, and whether or not the Roosters flamboyant attack will cut it against a tough defensive side. Can't wait.
