Yes definitely.

My main problem is that people look at the result and think s**t what a horrible decision without looking at the execution of the match.

And yeah, I think the way Cena is used is boring but it's a succesful formula that's worked since Hogan so I can't see them changing it because a bunch of us on the internet think it's s**t.

Of course their not, Cena sells more wwe merchandise than any other superstar, and boosts ratings. Which reminds me, what do u guys prefer? His old OJ shirt, or this new purple?

Cena's got a movie due soon, hopefully he'll go away for a month or 2 (Trips will return and take his place while he's away)

This. My prediction is by RR only 5 will still have a job. By Summerslam 2011 only 3 will still be in a job, but Bryan and Barrett will be top level main eventers. If that's the case, then the storyline will serve its purpose.

Judging by RAW this week, Young might be done already.

I think Gabriel also has the potential to compete singles as either mid card-main event.

He's my third prediction to still be around then. He'll probably lurk around the mid card scene, maybe hold a few major titles, my biggest concern with him is a lot of the time he just seems disinterested (but the in ring talent is there). Reminds me a lot of Shelton Benjamin.

Haha c'mon you've got to be kidding me...

WWE defeats Nexus and gains nothing = what happened exactly.
Nexus defeats WWE and gains everything- Nexus gets a push that takes them all through the roof...

The WWE superstars had NOTHING to gain from winning at Summerslam. Nexus did. You mention how they're channeling Hogan though Cena, problem is, Cena is not universally popular like Hogan. When you say execution of the match (which was pretty poor) just remember that 90% of wrestling fans don't give a sh*t, as in the quality of the match means little. See Cena for the last couple of years.

Bryan comes back and is escalated to the upper mid-card.

Nexus defeats WWE and gains everything

They already gained enough. Who's going to knock them down? Triple H?

Daniel Bryan

That's true, but he's easily the most popular wrestler in his generation like Hogan, and he was the main draw in WWE's most succesful year.
(which was pretty poor)

Explain

See Cena for the last couple of years.

The up and comer doesn't always have to go over the main guy. Heaps of WWE greats lost in a match like this on a big stage but it didn't really hurt them, (See, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Stone Cold). This time last year nobody had a clue who any of the Nexus were, now they're destroying Raw.

This had to seriously be one of the most boring PPVs of the year. It's starting to sound like a recorded message from me which is sad really. Only 1 title changed hands (Divas) and after that, AGAIN, team Laycool come out and get the better of the faces. Shaemus knocks out the ref, gets DQed but keeps the belt, UT returns after a lengthy period and gets hammered... and the main event was so boring it reminded us why WWE canceled the survivor series.

Worst Summerslam I've ever seen!

WWE are going very very stale and repetitive. If I don't see at least 1 more exciting PPV this year, I will stop following wrestling altogether!
