Well done boys

Been a fantastic season in which we overachieved by far. Just a bloody shame that Archer/Hayne and Finch (departing gift) had to ruin it. We'll be back bigger and better next season.

It was f**king disgusting what the referees did, but that's not the Dragon's fault. If we were (lol yeah I know) getting the same rub as them we wouldn't mind taking the win on the back of it.

Seriously the refs didn't lean one way or the other, both teams copped poor calls.

The real question is over carney - To my reckoning he did absolutely nothing that game..?

carney has been exposed as a choker .. had nothing when the pressure was on ... like hayne last year he rode the fairytale into the grand final and then had nothing ..

that being said, smith and the roosters have done well to get so far this season ..

Both teams were sh*thouse in the first half. Luckily, for us, the Dragons turned it around.

Good year for the Roosters & they should gain a lot from that effort to turn things around from 2009.
Should have pressed on from that 4 point lead but they let St George Illawarra get back into the game & it goes to show just how important field position is as a better execution of kicks from Carney, Pearce & Anasta might have been the difference especially at the start of the 2nd half.
To me this is where they lacked composure & St George Illawarra just grinded away waiting for any opportunity to push ahead.

I can't believe some people are saying Carney is a choker or he didn't turn up. The Dragons contained him very well in all 3 games this year, their defence just seemed to have his measure.

Yes. In 3 games this year your halves combo, which I will happily concede is greater talent wise than the Saints, were well contained. Heaps of opportunities in the first half to set in place a scoreline that would have been difficult to pull back, but couldn't because of resolute defence. Once we regained composure in the second half it was written in stone.

Congrats to the Roosters for finishing where they did. Shows some character to drag yourselves out of last years sh*t. Smith is the master Mr. Fix It.

Well Im a proud Chooks fan today.

We stood around in the rain watching Braith say his speech and boys get their medals.

You've gotta be proud of what they achieved this season on and off the field it was a remarkable turn about.

Well done to St George for marching on with it, we always knew we had to get out to a good start and it didn't quite happen that way.

Its all on again next year and I'm thankful for the entertainment the my boys provided throughout the season.

Carney did fine, I don't put the blame on any of the players it just wasn't our night.

GO THE ROOSTERS!!!!!

Congrats to the Roosters from a St George fan. Your fans were quite loud and did well. Thought your forwards needed to build a bit more of a platform. Carney tried most out of your key players but didn't have as much support. Carney did seem a bit nervy as seen in his second conversion attempt - he is 1 of the best strikers of the ball but the 2nd attempt was a shocker. Anyhoo congrats on a great ride for 2010.

I never leave a match before the fulltime siren, but last night I couldn't bring myself to sit there in a stadium with 40,000 dragons fans going wild. I left at the 78th minute.
