No one at work understands. I have my brand spanking new bright red Dragons 2010 Premiers T Shirt on with dark business pants on the 21st floor of a North Sydney building amongst all the other suits. My massive Champions poster out of yesterdays paper pinned up above my desk. I'm getting looks from everywhere - even my boss but I don't care.

I saw 5 dragons jerseys, 3 dragons flags and 1 dragons drink bottle today. pretty disappointing there's not more!

It's now starting to sink in. We are the premiers. What a feeling it was when I woke up on Monday morning and realised it was not a dream, it was real. Nobody can take it away. It's there for all to see, for all time.

I know someone has to win it every year but 31 years is a damn long time to wait. Thankfully the wait is over and I'm looking forward to a few more.

It is weird -- I think supporters of all other teams will never understand what we are feeling today ... to be so close so often but miss out, and then to finally get there ...

Warriors, Cowboys, Sharks have never won titles, and Souths have been waiting for 40 years too ... but none of those clubs have regularly been in with a shot and missed out ... they have all been close on rare occasions, but not every single year!


And one would hope that we never have this exact same feeling again - next time it will be more euphoric rather than just being about relief, because hopefully we won't be waiting another 30-odd years!!!

i had 35 text messages by full time but when i called my wife with ten minutes to go - i lost it, i cried and couldnt speak.
only two people made me cry when i spoke with them , my wife and my mother.
they are the 2 people who have endured watching me for more than 30 years enjoy the good times and suffer the painful ones.
i could still cry.

and i agree...theres a beautiful feeling in the air. just feeling at ease with the world lol not much can bother me right now :D

Wandering around the Sydney CBD on Monday in the Red V and felt bulletproof.

Back at work today with a smile in my face that will take alot of sh*t from incompetant supervisors to erase.

We are the Premiers!!

Now that I have finally sobered up I can honestly say that this was the best weekend of my life.

Nothing can top this feeling!

One of the best weekends eva! Soooooooooooooooooooo happy and relieved don't have to be back at work till Friday but when I do lets just say they will all know it! :) P.S I love my Premiers T Shirt! :)
