For me, there is only one downside of this happening (if it does), having to like Anthony Mundine.
If Souths (Crowe) miss out on Inglis he (Crowe) could always go for Monaghan. He is still a good player.
If we sign him then his new teammates will never be able to bring their dogs to training with them.
Would he sign with us because he wanted to play for Souths ?
No.
Would he sign with us even if we have no recognised 5/8 - half combination ?
I dont think so.
Would he sign with us because we are a good chance to win a Grand Final in the next few years ?
I doubt it very much.
Would he sign with us because of the money & being a part of Rusty's posse of admirers ?
A definate possibility.
I think boo_boo is talking about Inglis's perspectiveSo much negativity. We do have a decent halves combination and we're a big chance to win a premiership in the next few years.
@9NewsBrisbane: Broncos chief to make announcement on Inglis at 3pm today
"We are aware he's in Sydney and we believe through third parties that when he was in Sydney he was considering his future and considering his position with moving to the Rabbitohs. We're frustrated to the point where we're seriously considering our options and we will probably have to move on. We can't just keep telling our fans and our sponsors and our players that he might be playing with us if that's not his intention."

Mate there's a fine line between being negative & being realistic.
As a team our halves are our greatest concern with getting a decent fullback a close2nd.
Our current halves are not in a position to deliver if this year was anything to go by & whilst we are good enough to win the GF we wont get there unless if we get a decent halves pairing that can create opportunities & get the best out of our forwards.
We really need to look at what we have atm before we go after someone like Greg Inglis.
I think Sandow will get better and better, I would say the same for Sutton that he just needs a bit of fire and consistency in his game, but I've been saying that for years anyway and it hasn't happened.Mate there's a fine line between being negative & being realistic.

so is inglis definatly going to rabbitohs
Tweet from Danny Weidler: Inglis will finalise deal with Souths next week. Well done to @russellcrowe - what a coup
could be argued though that getting a GI could attract a better halfback
