Looks to me to cover most teams adequately, although one could argue there's an overdose on Roosters and possibly Parra.

its a one minute ad timmah, they can only do so much

ahhh....i think i like it. it doesn't fire me up as much as some previous ad's, but i think it does a good job of selling the game. the carnival/circus theme is a clever play and i think it goes well with RL providing the content

i barely noticed the song as i was watching it...still will argue that the song is rubbish, although the star power behind the bon jovi name obviously works well in terms of promotion/big event feel

in summary:

tv ad - 8/10
song - 3/10

Kind Regards,
Moffo

Can anyone post another link? NRL's blocked the video for those of us attempting to view from overseas.

Is NRL played outside of Sydney? If it wasn't for the one second shot of the raiders, you wouldn't know.

The ad isn't as bad as the song, but it is still awful..... because of the horrendous song.

Incredibly, Moffo is right. Song is sh*t. But then again, it is Bon Jovi, so what do you expect?

The song is catchy and IMO gets better every time you hear it!

Bon Jovi only earned more then any other band last year... They're only one of the most known bands in the world! Anything the NRL has paid them, has been worth it with the publicity alone! Thank God the NRL didn't go with an Aussie artist again... Talk about sh*t.

false advertising. as far as i know the grounds don't have rollercoasters, Bon Jovi was not on the big screen when Anasta kicked the field goal, fiery hoops don't randomly appear for players to dive through to score and the goal line does not become fire to prevent players from scoring.

apart from that it's excellent

...and the goal line does not become fire to prevent players from scoring.

For some teams it seems like it does.

And there was a good balance of teams content in there. I do agree the song isn't good but I would love to see the star power of Bon Jovi used to the full degree by asking them to mention Rugby League when they promote their album.

Why do we have to listen to Rabs rabble during an ad?
I love the song but its swamped by the senile commentator.

The commercial could of been so much better.
