He might be a whiny turd, but you see our halves??? Robson and Mortimer FFS!!

Tend to agree with you buddy, but your halves aren't talked as world beaters either. I'm not saying Prince is the worst half in the comp, he is in my opinion the most over rated.

after reading the other thread im going to nominate Luke Walsh... good kicking game is all he's got. There seems to be a belief he's one of the emerging young halves in the game, i just dont see it.

Most good judges, just don't rate Walsh at all. He literally has next to nothing to offer other than a few kicks.

Not saying he is the most overrated, but the Channel Nine love for Mitchell Pearce is unwarranted.

HE has a fabulous kicking game along with sound organisational and defensive skills. But he doesn't strike me as a playmaker that puts a lot of doubt in opposition defences. He doesn't attack the line in the vein of Cronk or Thurston, and his inside passing is predictable and over-used.

He is in the 'good but not great' category right now, and shouldn't really threaten for a Blues jersey.

The Tits are at the age where they are starting to sag.
Enough about your personal life - tell us your opinion on the football team. :D

Prince is the only thing keeping the titans from the wooden spoon and he's only half the player he was 2 years ago.

Prince has been ordinary since 2010 where he basically won the Dally M half award by default. In all honesty, I thought Hornby had a better season and deserved it more.

With that said, Titans were missing their best player in Nathan Friend yesterday and were experimenting with the likes of Capewell, Michaels and Toopi. I expect a big improvement next week and a great game of footy on Friday.

Sandow is the worst halfback in the league, hands down.

But everyone knows he stinks worse than a Souffs fan's foreskin.

His kicking game is diabolical, his tackling is atrocious and his field goals are hysterical.

Orford would be most over-rated for mine.

That Dally M had me scratching my head and the way everyone is strumming the banjo about him coming back is baffling. He was tortoise slow when he left a year ago, how is playing England going to make him any better? If I was a Canberra fan, I would be bleeding.

Hornby > Prince

See last years GF, Hornby put his body on the line to outleap all and sundry to take a bomb at a pivotal moment.
He was the real CC medalist.

Probably because the other half was f**ken nonsense and he didn't want to agree with it.

I disagree about Luke Walsh he actually has a good running game when he decides to use it. I actually think he is underrated because people say all he can do is kick and this is not the case. He isn't a great halfback but he is more then decent enough and he is probably one of the best 8 in the competition.

Scott Prince is getting old as are the Titans it is why you couldn't tip them to make the top 8 this season. Campbell should be five eighth also they lack spark and they would make a good combination. I thought Bird stuffed up the Proctor miss on the weekend whilst Prince's attempt was poor Bird just sort of put in a half assed attempt to provide any cover.

As for the most overrated half in the game maybe it is Mitchell Pearce at the moment guy has potential to be great but at the moment i just think he is a good player with potential rather than being awesome.

Surely has to be Scott Prince.

He is woeful.
Can't tackle, rarely runs at the line, puts in a few kicks every now and then.
One thing he is very good at though is having a massive sook to the ref's.

I can think of one maybe 2 halfbacks who are just as bad, but they aren't regarded as highly as what Prince is by the media.

The Titans will do nothing with this hack running the show for them, based on what I've seen so far this year.

I'm a Saints fan too but you must be carrying massive scars from 2005.

Yes he has started the season poorly but to say that Prince is the most over rated halfback in the game is plain wrong.

It wasn't too long ago that it could be argued he was the number one halfback in the game.

He has played for his state, his country and won a premiership (Churchill medalist).

Please explain how he any of this was achieved without merit.

If you want to argue that he may be on the slide, that's a different story.

Sandow is unspeakably horrible at football. He can't tackle, he can't kick and yet he acts like he's Andrew Johns and Gorden Tallis combined. Sutton's not much better; a lazy waste of talent who should focus more on his passing game than his gangsta cred.

LOL you are comparing Scott Prince to Andrew Johns??

That'll do me, you are a deadset spastic.

Nope, just making a sarcastic joke about the tendency of this forum to call most players overrated

lol, looks like you're the spastic... but hey you're a filthy butt-hurt merge fan, it's kinda the norm
