It was reported in the media that the Cowboys board including Gordon Tallis had decided not to pursue Bennett and the Bulldogs also deciced to stick with Moore. Did Benny offer them his services? Who knows but they publically said no thanks anyway.

There's no doubt that Bennett has been stalling waiting for Twinkle Bells to take over the Knights. We can't compete with what he will offer so I think it's wise to start looking now for options. In the end Price will be coach next year.

Considering the club had the ability to get benny at Kogarah, I'll trust the club to find the best suited replacement (in whatever shape or form that takes) to continue our clubs recent success. Nothing I have seen over the last 24 months makes me feel that concerned we (as a club) are not heading in the right direction.

Steve Price should not be the dragons coach next year. I like the guy, and he has ability.... but honestly,
he's too young. It's a proven disaster. Surely surely surely we have learnt our lesson.
I would be bitterly upset if Price gets the nod.

After the Cowboys CEO said he had to discuss it with the board, Bennett said, "Thank heavens I'm not going to a club that runs by democracy".

Either way, it was their loss. We won the comp.

back then Tallis was with the cowgirls and they said no thanks and ofcourse the dogs wanted bullfrog in charge and Bennett even recommend some players to the dogs.

Had St George Bought a decent Coach instead of having brown in we would have won multiple premierships and wouldn't need Bennett But thats back then and this is now and I appreciat what Bennett has done, Just pisses me of why the crap his stalling, make up his mind or just Bloody move on in the end we are a big club with money and can keep looking at Good coaches, its not the end of the world.

One thing that bugs me is that this secret meeting was held a month ago apparently. Why write it up now and not I don't know, a month ago. Sounds like rubbish article.

Dragons were not Benny's 3rd choice team as stated above. I have it from good sources that he was a huge fan of the Dragons as a kid and jumped at the chance to coach the Dragons once they showed interest.

I feel that Benny is stalling because this next decision will be his biggest. I hear he is considering retirement as his mother in law passed away and his mother is ill. He said when his family needs him he will step down and I think he is waiting to see how his personal life is heading before he makes the decision.

FFS Benny probably does not know what he wants to do. He has already stated that when he decides what he is going to do he'll inform the club and players as soon as he knows.

Thats good enough for me. Honestly give the bloke and the club some credit.
