IMO the crown sponsor badge is much to high on the storms jersey, it makes the jersey look stupid. It would be much better located half way done the jersey instead of a few cenimetres from the collar
Is there a limit to the amount of sponsors a club can have on their strip ( 5? 2front, 1back, 1sleeve, 1shorts)? And is there a percentage limit to the sponsor coverage of the jersey? This topic was actually good in that we could discuss sponsorship deals etc but it has just descended into trash talk. Could we please get back to topic in hand.
Last good sponsorship announcement was Hyundai, a welcome return to the game.

I know we need sponsors but I hope our jerseys don't become billboards.
I'm sure you mean 2 back, 1 front, 1 sleeve. Also I think you can have 2 shorts but not 100% on that
I dont know why they have to out the blue square behind they crown symbol on the storms jeresy. Would have looked alot better just on the purple. The blue square even goes over the lighting bolts on the side....
And AFL clubs don't have half as many as NRL clubs. It's frustrating when you see their relatively clean jerseys compared to our billboard like ones.NRL clubs don't have half as many sponsors logos as SL clubs do so why the whinge?
With all due respect, someone being a moderator has nil to do with it. As is written in the forum guidelines, moderators are members first, and moderators second. It's a joke. Unfortunately we're stuck with this place, but if there was a better NRL forum option that didn't tolerate these trolls I'd be there in a flash.
Putting the trolls on ignore helps a little, but when moderators like yourself tolerate and contribute to all this off topic rubbish, it sets the quality bar low.
And yes I'm well aware I'm now contributing to the off topic stuff, but no action is taken, so no point me showing forum etiquette when the idiots don't. There is a clear policy of quantity over quality which is a real shame.
And Timmah/dodge, I know you'll just belittle me in reply because in over many years of reading your posts, I know you can't take criticism. You have the option here to admit the quality of discussion is poor in general at the moment, but you won't.
Lol @ the hypocrisy. For the record, I'm as annoyed as you that trolls like Bunniesman and former trolls like BBSF and co are/were allowed to hang around on here for any length of time, and I'm annoyed that they continue to thread hi-jack.
As for the personal criticism, that really isn't necessary.

No I haven't seen it. You would still be able to tell it was crown with out the blue square behind it.
Im not one of those people who complains about companies pouring money into our game through sponsorships.
But watching the Storm game live last Monday night, the "clean" back of the jersey is actually very striking and visually very easy on the eye.
I disagree that it is a necessary evil. Or at least to the extent that it covers our jerseys. Look at how small and out of the way sponsors are on AFL jerseys. Because their clubs do such a good job of attracting crowds and members.Whilst sponsorship ruining jerseys is a necessary evil of todays game (even tho some clubs, eg the chooks, dragons do it alot better than others) the one that still gets me is seeing a big VB logo splattered on the Australian jersey. Really wish we could get rid of that one
