2011 Jersey & Sponsorship Discussion

Yeah, 2 on the back, below and above the numbering. Which brings me to another pet hate and question. Do the numbers have to be a set size? The pet hate is when clubs incorporate the number colour into the jersey design like a fashion statement making them very hard to read. Numbers should be the most contrasting colour possible to the jersey colour and different to the back of jersey sponsor as well. A small detail but an important one if your at the ground or new to the game.

No, they should blend into the jersey as long as they are see-able, which all clubs are.

For the record, I'm as annoyed as you that trolls like Bunniesman and former trolls like BBSF and co are/were allowed to hang around on here for any length of time, and I'm annoyed that they continue to thread hi-jack.

As for the personal criticism, that really isn't necessary.

Fair enough, I'm glad to hear it annoys you too. Quick question: is a "troll" post or off topic post (like this one I'm writing ) sufficient cause to report a post?

Apologies for the personal criticism. I stand by my call that you havnt handled criticism well in the past, but in fairness you probably attract more criticism than most which is a bit unfair, and to your credit your reply to my post was very reasonable, so thanks.

When i did that i received an infraction and a e-mail message thingo on here saying the report system is not to sort out arguments.

Obviously, they were way off.

"Grit the teeth" is the best solution I can offer. If they aren't breaking any guidelines the hands are tied unfortunately.

Women in League jerseys for four teams coming up...

Looks like the Roosters won't be doing one this year.

we both field players in the team.

That shark storm jersey looks like the old Charlotte Hornets colour scheme from back in the day, doesn't actually look too bad I reckon.

First step towards merge eh?

no, it will be over by next season when the Storm re-enter a team in the NSW cup.

Sharks can't afford to pay enough players to fill a second team so melbourne send players there as they sort out their salary cap thing.

So what will the Sharks do? Just get rid of their NSW cup side altogether?

I don't know, ask the Sharks.

If i had to guess, maybe by then they will be in a stronger financial situation or have already decided to relocate somewhere.

It's being reported on another forum there was a news update mentioning a possible relocation of the Sharks to Central Queensland, so perhaps get a deal with a QRL Club.

Or perhaps the sharks can afford to pay a team to fill up a reserve side but instead are taking up this offer to save money for future years.

Quite frankly, i don't care.

Both the Tigers and Cowboys have a much better heritage jersey than their main. Personally, if I was a Tigers fan I'd buy the heritage jersey and only ever wear that.

You reported that using an article from 2009, you fool!
