Is this the worst South Sydney side in the last 40 years?

Thinking back over the past 4 decades to find a team which has promised so much but delivered so little, we have had some crook sides but these were at times when the club was in no position to bargain. Most of those teams may have been short on skill but at least managed to put in a good effort.

This current team is very high on quality and expectation and yet look at the crap they deliver each week. After next weeks results we may very well find ourselves at the bottom of the table and looking at the spoon.Hard to believe given the talent we have!!!

Souths played very well against Manly and StGIll two of the better sides.

Perhaps if mental attitude was questioned you would be closer to the mark.

So what are these excuses Galeforce.
Before the 19/03/2006 we were broke, had poor management with no direction, never had any players of the standard we have now, never recieved the amounts of cash from sponsorship, ANZ Stadium, private investors etc that we do now & you say there are excuses.
Please let me know if there is anything that i have missed that might just give us the advantage over other NRL clubs that would normally give our coaching staff & players the incentive to do us proud on the field.

You blokes just need a decent coach. The talent in the forwards is there. There is enough class in your outside backs to be a force. It's the combination in the halves and Langs coaching that is preventing you from being a top 4 side that you definately should be with your squad.

Yes they are under performing and just about everyone has an opinion as to why. No matter how frustrated we are, there is no doubt that the team needs us more now than when they are winning...so let us see if we can lift them out of this mire...see you all at the game.
