Yeah, that Kenny, Marto, Cleary, Tago edge was a huge concern again.
I knew we were due a wake up call, and for whatever reason Titans usually put up a good fight against us. Even though that was a highly unsatisfying 'win', I am hoping the team treats it as a loss and learns from it whilst thankfully banking 2 points.
I'm going to agree with the right edge concerns too.
BUT
I've analysed it every time it breaks down and have come to the conclusion that at least one of the four fails to "stay connected" and inevitably ends up past the ball.
Watching it unfold yesterday, and it pains me to say, our best player, and arguably the games best player, Nathan Cleary was the culprit far too many times.
The resultant problems from one player leaving the structure is so hard to overcome and the Titans made us pay plenty of times. Other teams don't score every time we make defensive errors, but gee, they can make some players look dumb.
Nathan is also the first to admit his shortcomings and said as much in a post match interview.
It will be fixed again, just like the last time it happened during a losing streak.
