Josh Dugan - The Dugan won't let anyone down. But Hayne should be fullback. The fact that Hayne isn't even in the team is completely and absolutely diabolically ridiculous.

Brett Morris - Was always going to be picked, unfortunately. Can the man with the invisible legs fool the touch judges again?

Mark Gasnier - The best option that NSW had.:( Fire up bitch!

Michael Jennings - The guy can play. He also can get injured. Anyone seen unbreakable? - Mr Glass.

Akuila Uate - Will he follow in the footsteps of McDougall or McManus? Let's hope its MacDougall.

Jamie Soward - The prancing Pygmy gets a jersey. He'll have more eyes on him than Scarlett Johanson at a nudist beach.

Mitchell Pearce - The bad news is that Ricky Stuart has a history of destroying halfback's careers. The worse news is that Pearce is pretty rooted to begin with.

Jason King - WTF? Jason King. Jason F**KING King? Are you JoKING?

Michael Ennis - Oh, now I know why they've selected King. It gives Forehead someone to hide behind. Why they selected this ponce still eludes me.

Kade Snowden - Kade, what a pretty name. The kid's got some GO in him (possibly why Newcastle signed him).

Beau Scott - Lucky, lucky, lucky lucky man. Back in my day men were called Rex or Horace or Iron Balls - Kade and now Beau? Girls.

Greg Bird - Watch out Kade and Beau, Greg has a reputation with the ladies - I'd suggest you ask Ricky not to have him for a room mate.

Paul Gallen - Phil Rothfield's love child, part time surgeon, race relations expert and NSW captain. With the Dugan and Gal the God in the team how can we lose?

Bench:

Ben Creagh - Concave chest will be battling it out with Micheal Ennis for a spot behind WTF King when the going get's tough.

Trent Merrin - :lol::lol:

Tim Mannah - Will put in. Can't wait for the 7 milliion stories about he and his brother.

Dean Young - Someone has been reading the St Merge V Qld thread.

I'll support the blues as usual but if we get away with anything other than a 96 - 0 spanking in game 1 than it will be a bone fide miracle.

While King does O.K for Manly, Toleman had a pearler against the Bronc's and has all year.
Only other for me would be Lewis for Creagh.
We all new Morris and Pearce where going to be there and Watmough was black banned.

I'll still get behind them lets hope they suprise me.

Ricky Stuart the myth and Bob Fulton the corrupt parasite. A match made in heaven. For the first time in my life I am barracking for Queensland.

Toleman had a pearler against the Bronc's and has all year.

What?

Tolman was comprehensively out-played that game. I thought it was one of those games that counted against him.

All the ring-ins and QLD bandwagoners will come crawling in now to add their nuff-nuff input

here is some nuff nuff input, lol

thats it, lol

ricky cannot be serious?

i can just see jason king being driven backwards, soward having no room or time to get his kicking game going, and scott making no inroads out wide. 6 series in a row sounds great to me, ricky

1. Dugan ( Fair Enough )
2. Morris ( Last Chance )
3. Gasnier ( Good )
4. Jennings ( I think it's good though form is a worry )
5. Uate ( Good )
6. Soward ( Finally )
7. Pearce ( Needs to perform )
8. King ( Utter joke selection )
9. Ennis ( Failed last year at Origin last chance surely )
10. Snowden ( Fair Enough )
11. Scott ( Fair Enough )
12. Bird ( Fair Enough )
13. Gallen ( Obviously)

14. Creagh ( Surely his last chance )
15. Merrin ( Don't think he is the best candidate )
16. Mannah ( Fair Enough )
17. Young ( Deserves a chance )

So if you go through the team. I think Morris isn't cut out for Origin, Hayne should be in the team because he is the most talented player in the state.

I think Jennings selection is fine on the basis that NSW need to pose an attacking threat. Jennings problem this season has been Penrith's tactics i think in a good side he will perform.

Soward has been the best performing NSW five eighth for 3 years with the exception of Carney. It's about time he has been given a chance to see what he can do at this level.

Pearce i think Mullen is better but Pearce is the golden boy. NSW desperately need to unearth a quality halfback.

King wouldn't even be in my top 10 best front rowers in the state.

1. Snowden
2. Tolman
3. Galloway
4. Mannah
5. TLL
6. Grant
7. Douglas
8. Tilse
9. Merrin
10. Fifita
11. Gibbs
12. Bailey
13. Hunt
14. Weyman
15. James
16. Sims (???)

There are at least 16 front rowers from NSW i would of picked ahead of Jason King. If Fulton has to pick a Manly player make him pick Watmough or something.

Merrin i think is below some of the front rowers i named in my list.

Scott has played well this season i am just glad he isn't in the centre's at least with Inglis injured he might be able to stop him this season.

This is surely Creagh's last chance plus i don't see the point of naming him from the bench he isn't really an impact player.

Farah is the best NSW hooker he has been for years he should be picked.

If i were to pick the side

1. Dugan
2. Hayne
3. Jennings
4. Gasnier
5. Uate
6. Soward
7. Mullen
8. Tolman
9. Farah
10. Snowden
11. Lewis
12. Bird
13. Gallen

14. Idris
15. TLL
16. Galloway
17. Mannah

One positive i can see with the NSW side this year is that they have picked an exciting three quarter line Morris is the only one i wouldn't pick but he isn't an awful selection.

Problems again will be with the front row and halves. NSW really need to steamroll Queensland up the middle make as much ground as they do with King in the team this won't happen unfortunately.

Hayne is behind thurston the best player in NRL-But NSW dont find a spot for him...
Fitler and Johns even mentioned it today. On top of that Dugans form has been ordinary this year.

When it is Hayne that gets himself binned then it is squarely his fault. Hindmarsh admitted it when he got binned as well, he knew. Apparently you don't.

Yep Dugan has had an injury plagued start to the year, not denying it but when that bomb by Lockyer is launched into orbit or when Thurston fires a kick for a 40/20 I am grateful it isnt Hayne. Hayne has his strengths as well but those are things Dugan generally has covered.

So it's squarely Hayne's fault that Parramatta get smashed 11 on 11. Sound logic here.

lol @ injury plagued, that's fair defense for his horrible showing in 2 of his recent 3 games and puts him in good stead in 10 days time huh? And yeah, Dugan did so well covering Farah and Lui recently and Hayne so poorly covering JT that it makes complete sense to want Dugan there for those JT and Lockyer kicks.

Dugan has Hayne's strengths covered? Dugan can draw two defenders and put the ball on the chest of his outside man like Hayne does consistently? Dugan can slot himself into the backline, hold the ball out in front and cause defenses to collapse? Dugan can put a line runner outside their man with a pass? Dugan can bomb teams into submission from 30 and 40 out? Dugan has anything resembling Hayne's long kicking game? The only thing Dugan can almost match Hayne in is ball running and chips/grubbers, even then he's no Hayne.
